I purchased this product on eBay after receiving a great Eminence facial at a salon. It's the 5% strength as opposed to the professional 20%. Now I've read the instructions and they say to use their Soothing Chamomile Tonique to de-activate the product after toweling off the peel. I didn't buy the tonique and I'd really like to avoid doing so.

Does anyone have experience with this peel? Did you use this tonique or were you able to go without? Or perhaps substitute another toner?

Thanks Smile

Any kind of toner with some kind of soothing
properties would be fine. Be carefull buying eminence products on ebay. This line is 100% percent natural and organic, so the shelf life isn't very long. Alot of the time people will sell there products on ebay when they have expired. If the yam and pumpkin enzyme peel doesn't smell the greatest yam and pumpkins you ever smelled, then chances are it has expired, and lost it's potency.

Thanks so much for the information. I didn't realize that about the short shelf life. I had a bad experience with the ebay seller, so I am already wary of buying skincare on there.

I have my eye on this mask... please let us know what you think of it once you've used it.

And I don't think that it matters what you use to deactivate it. I've used the Mychelle Pumpkin mask and it says to just rinse off with water.

I've been eyeing this mask too. I've used PSF Pumpkin Peel before but now want to try a new one, choosing from either Eminence or Juice Beauty Green Apple Peel.

Anyone who's tried it before please share your experience. Razz

I got a sample of the mask yesterday, I'll use the Bioelements Equalizer for the final step. I just love all the samples I get from EDS.

I am wary of doing that, since she is responding to my negative feedback with complete lies and I have no desire to be involved with her anymore. I did leave negative feedback for her so if you're thinking of using an ebay seller then just check the feedback.

I haven't used the mask yet, but I will report back when I have!

I just purchased the Eminence Yam and Pumpkin Peel, and I have used both the PSF Pumpkin Enzyme Peel (just 1 jar)and Juice Beauty Green Apple Peel (4 jars intotal).

Here is what I think. The best product is the Green Apple peel as it works to not only to exfoliate/peel your skin, it also keeps your pores clean. The PSF has a stronger gycolic base and it causes a lot of irritation and peeling, BUT my pores looked jammed with gunk!! The Yam & Pumpkin from E has a lot of oils in it and I notice my pores have gunk in them from the product.

I usually use these products twice a week. I will not repurchase any of these products except the Green Apple Peel, which is so much better in every way that I kick myself for spending $60 between the other two!!!!!!!!
