Just wondering if any of you ladies can recommend shops that carry cute/different bikinis.
I bought my first and last swimsuit over the internet...who would have thought that wouldn't work out  ?
This is the one I had to return but I thought it was soooo cute I resisted all common sense and ordered it:

Top smushed my boobs down...looked like it was trying to strangle the life out of them and I'm don't even have big ones! And since the bottoms only tie on the left side, the back side kept wanting to run off to the right...couldn't deal with a permanent half wedgie. I'm looking for something different (something maybe with a retro twist) that doesn't cost a fortune! TIA  |

I love La Perla's beachwear. Go to their site and check it out. They have incredible designs.

I've often bought mine from Victoria's Secret Catalogue when it's on sale. Everything fits fine except for the bottom piece even in the XS. I got a small butt. I went to a store down in Orange County that sells stuff for showgirls, but they carry a scrunged butt bottom, and matching bikini top. I got two pairs, one in white and one in bright blue with pink trimmed. I love them. Now my butt doesn't look like it's hiding in the too big bikini bottom. |

Another vote for Victoria'S Secret esp. if you go to sales and specials and try discontinued colors or styles - good bargains and great fit with unique details. They have a great hotshort with belt that I wore to death on my holidays with a matching push up top (with no wire or tacky pads - VS really knows boobs)
La Perla is of course also lovely and more grown up I guess but I love VS. |

Thanks ladies! There's been one swimsuit I've been eying on VS, however, I actually found a really cute/inexpensive ($20  )one after a few visits to a couple different Ross stores.
From what I can remember, bkkgirl understands the deals to be had at Ross  ! |
