My skin is: 40, very fair, a bit of visible sun damage..not terrible sensitive - but prone to dehydration (if I'm not careful)...So here I go: I used the Alpha Derma CE for 3 full weeks. For the first four days I used it alone - then incorporated Vivier C serum 20 (before the Alpha Derma CE) and then Strivectin following...(Vivier and SV were regulars in my skincare routine prior to ADCE). I did this to allow my skin to acclimatize to the new product. I did not use the Skin Prep (which, if I understand correctly, is a pretty integral part of the ADCE routine)...so I guess mine is actually a *partial* review!
*First Impression* - THUD. I couldn't believe how immediately lifted and rejuvenated my skin looked! I was amazed, perhaps *too* amazed. I thought it would feel more like a serum - but it actually felt like a very, very light lotion (remember Dior's Base Fluide?!). It has no discernable scent (which was lovely given the stink of Strivectin that I have become so accustomed to..) A little does go a long way and it comes in a pump which I love (protects from contamination). I used it right around the eye area with, initially, absolutely no sensitivity at all - which was great. I was a little disappointed that no literature came with the product...I found that odd..not even instructions for usage on the bottle...even more odd...was that just a mistake? Anyways, I incorporated the vitamin C and *did* feel a little sensitive...my skin (following c and ADCE) actually felt very tight...I felt desperate for moisturizer - which I didn't like....perhaps I would have had a different result if I had used the Prep as well...but I couldn't stand the thought of using vitamin C/Prep/ADCE/Strivectin all in one sitting - psychologically it felt like too much layering for me...so I probably didn't do the ADCE justice ...anyway...I have almost half of the small bottle left.....Our hellish Canadian winter is almost over, (which could have something to do with my skin's ridiculous thirst!) so I think I will give the other half of my bottle a shot in the next couple of months (with the Prep this time!)...*final thoughts*: I'd bet my bottom dollar that someone with oilier tendencies and who is concerned about visible aging, would absolutely love this stuff - all year round. If you are considering trying it, I'd highly recommend that you listen to Winnie! I didn't use it with the Prep (as recommended) which might very well have been why I just felt too dry to continue using it....(stay tuned for Part II of the review, sometime over the summer! )

Glad to hear ADCE worked wonders for u
It didn't help me much with fine lines, but it may because I didn't use it properly?
The vit c serum from skinC helped with fine lines much better. |

Hi Sweetangel...what was *immediately* apparent to me was in improvement in my facial contouring...there was an overall lift....but I just coudn't use it over my vitamin C without feeling very, very tight afterwards..I don't know if it's because I didn't use the Prep...or if it had something to do with the weather...it's been crazy this year (warm air, cold air, snow, then rain..totally unpredictable and havoc-wreaking)..It's not that it necessarily made my skin look tight or lined...not at all...it was a "feel" thing..I felt undermoisturized...oh well!Pudoodles |

Now I am speaking as a customer of JB. I find that if I use the JB line and that alone I am loving my skin. I really have very few lines on my face but the facial firmness was my big issue. As you, I had an immediate lift and it just got better. My skin is very firm with continued use of ADCE. Perhaps I notice this more then anyone as I am sixty. The Mom on the forum. Vit. C is wonderful but with AlphaDerma many people find that additional C can have a negative effect. When I first started trying a C with ADCE I had irritation and dryness. For me I found the CS RX C+ firming caused not irritation but actually was moisturizing. During the dead of winter here in New England I use a very natural inexpensive moisturizer but in the Spring, Summer and Fall I do not need any moisturizer over ADCE. Now, I am not saying people using ADCE should go out and buy CS RX. We are all so different and need to find what works best for us. The only thing I noticed by adding the C was the color of my skin lost the sallow look it had for years. My skin is light olive with some pink undertone.

Hi Pudoodles, I used the Alphaderma and the Prep for about 6 weeks and the prep alone pulled my skin tight and may it feel very dry so maybe its as well you didnt use the full routine. I was like you in the over doing of the layers so I gave up in the end. I find that if I just use the vivier 20, I can put nothing else on my skin and it doesnt feel dry or if its lacking anything. Once Ive finished the Yonka Im using I may just go naked except for the Vivier 20 and the vivier eye and Cellcosmet. |

Hi Cindi! I *know* - yours was a bloomin' horror story! That was horrible, eh? I am glad you like the Vivier - it's lovely, isn't it?? I am treating my little Cellcosmet pot of eyecream like a jewel! WOW! that stuff is just gorgeous, isn't it! BTW, M took a couple of pics of me - but we can't upload them to the computer..some technical thing that I don't understand....stay tuned, though...you will eventually see me at my most frightening!

I agree that ADCE is an excellent product! I usually don't praise anything unless I truly believe that it does work! ADCE does work! I've tried it for about 3 months now, and I can see that my skin is smoother, brighter, more even, more glowing! I gave it to my mom to try it out too, and after 4 weeks, her skin looks glowing and more toned. She likes it very much too! I highly recommend ADCE!
I also like JB service, very pleasant! I've just placed another order with them last week and the customer rep. said he will give me a sample of the eye lid ampule to try! Hopefully I will agree with Winnie on this ampule. Will see how it is on me and will let you guys know! |

So, are you saying that my oily, blackhead prone, over 50 skin needs Alpha Derma? Where is the *best* deal (USA) on Alpha Derma--coffers are getting low!
What do all the abbreviations stand for?
Thanks! I need a lift--especially in the jowl area. I'm starting to see those dreaded shadows and there's no way I'm having a face lift.
Would it help firm up extra skin on the neck directly inder the chin? |

Yes, I would say that is the greatest thing about AlphaDerma (firming lifting qualities). Did you see EDS is giving out the 5 day sample pack free.
I also sent you a Private Message.

Thank you, Winnie! I just now figured out how to find the threads I've participated in.
I don't see where the free AlphaDerma products are offered. But I did notice that Point Brown is 4 or 5 hours North of where I live |

I have been wanting to try this. I am 35 years old with pretty good skin althought those first few fine lines are popping up on my forehead. Would this product work well for me?

Lori,
The more mature woman like myself see the most dramatic difference in their skin using AlphaDerma. Younger woman on the forum use it as a preventative. AlphaDerma will relax the few lines you have that are starting. If you try it, like it, and find it had deminished your lines don't stop using it on those areas. It sounds like you only need to use it in certain areas. I use it on my whole face and neck. I first started using AlphaDerma to firm my skin which was starting to sag. No more sagging skin for me and very few wrinkles. I am 60. BTW, I do work for Janson Beckett as a sales rep. in the state of MA.

Winnie:
Here is where I need help? I am getting a rather deep line on my neck (there I said it....acceptance is the first step, right?). I also have about 3-4 noticeable forehead lines...and the DREADED "11" between my eyebrows.
Do you think Alphaderma-CE will be able to help me with these?

Lori,
I suggest you get the Free five day sample pack that EDS is offering. You will see the link a few posts up.
My neck looked pretty bad and it has done wonders for my whole face and neck. I have been using it since July (before working for JB). Yes, I think it will help. I have found with ADCE the more I use it the better I look. Most people (know matter what product they use) do not give anything a chance and want a quick fix. Although you should notice immediate results with the five day sample, the results are cumulative.
If you have any questions please PM me and I will do my best to answer any questions.

I am going to order it right now.
I am not in search of a "quick fix". And with skin care, if I find something I love I tend to stick with it forever, it seems. |

I was as surprised as you to see EDS offer the 5 Day Samples FREE. How generous of EDS. Idea: perhaps you can get the samples from EDS TOO. You can always use the additional 5 day sample pack of AlphaDerma products when traveling. |
