Hi
Having recently read a post by someone else in the UK that they had been charged Customs fees on their package from EDS, I wondered has it happened to anyone else from the UK recently?
Unfortunately my last 3 packages from EDS have been charged, I appreciate I have to pay the fees, but are Customs just having a blitz or is it happening to others?
TIA |

I think someone else from the UK recently got charged custom tax as well. |

I don't think that Customs are cracking down. All of the first packages I received form EDS were charged customs fees, but all of my recent orders had no charges which was a pleasent surprise. I have received quite a few parcels from other places outside of the UK too and on a few rare occasions I have been charged. |

Hi
Have you received anything OK recently, within the last couple of weeks?

If you read my message, I know that, that's why I posted. |

My first parcel from EDS wasn't charged, then the next couple were, but the latest ones haven't been. It all just seems to be luck of the draw, whether they're picked on or not. |

I'm sorry. I just didn't remember who posted it. It was on Skincare and Makeup Forum. |

I must be really unlucky then. My last 3 were charged.
At least my hoop is coming from the UK. |

I think we have established in the past that UK customs constantly check parcels, you can get lucky and not have it charged but this is random. Being charged customs is unfortunate but it is a part of living in the specific country that is charging the customs fees.
Can we please avoid having new threads on the recent happening with customs? Custom fee evasion is an offense and we'd prefer not to have anything related to this on the forum any more. Thank you. |
