I doubt it as it could clog your pores. Try and good eye cream instead depending on your problem (wrinkles, dryness, dark circles) and age.
But it should be good for your body .

I don't advise you to use it because it will cause milia around your eye area. Also, it may migrate on the face and promote acne in neighboring areas such as the cheeks, temple and forehead. It's better to use a good eye cream that is oil-free, but gives a lot of moisture. Look for ingredients like liposomes which locks in moisture. Wink

Mineral oil and petroleum jelly are a couple of the best moisturizers known to science. Get down seven layers deep, etc. The only problem is that they are extremely occlusive, meaning they can block your pores....So great moisture but then breakouts can happen..."it's always something"..Smile

Hyaluronic acid is a nice product for "boosting" your favorite moisturizer. It can hold 1000x it's weight in moisture so will hold on to the moisture in your moisturizer....prevent evaporation off your skin....

baby oil is known to be a great moisterizer for the body, but not the face unless it never ever breaks out but even then a normal moisterizer would be better

I would NEVER put it on my face - I would be severely broken out. That being said, my grandmother (now deceased) used it daily her entire adult life, and at the morgue they said she had the most beautiful skin they had seen for an 86 year old. People constantly accused her of having had a face lift! She looked amazing! If I could use it, I would!

Shock SHUDDER Shock
I put baby oil around my eyes once...the next morning I'd looked like a blowfish; or like I'd lost a boxing match...my eyes couldn't have been any more puffy - a complete nightmare. Now if I use any sort of cleansing oil I am extremely careful to keep it away from my eyes.

Baby oil does not break me out whatsoever. I used to be afraid of it, because everyone told me to be, but nothin' beats tryin' it for yourself.

Great to remove makeup with. Very Happy

You know ... a week or so ago, I put some heavier oil around my eyes ... and the next day I couldn't quite figure out why they felt so puffy! Confused

Talk about stupid ... I went though "allergies?"... "cold?" ... "tired?" ... and it took me the longest time to reason out that it was the heavier oil I had used the night before! Laughing [I just hate it when I overlook the obvious!]

So I feel for you puds ... that was a most unpleasant day!

Mary

Why don't you try another type of oil? I would suggest emu, jojoba or squalane.

Thanks, Mary ...Hi Keliu...I love emu oil (Dremu is the brand I have)...I've used it just up to the orbital bone (and in minute amounts!) but I haven't dared to go any closer...I really should give it a try though..apparently it is fabulous around the eyes!

As most others said...baby oil would likely just clog your pores. But, I have used jojoba oil around my eyes...and it worked really well! No clogging or puffiness.
