Natural Progesterone Cream!
I've used it recently to help me with hormonal issues related to my PCOS symptoms and a great side effect is that my hormonal/cystic acne has disappeared. Even the redness, swelling and irritation around my chin area from ingrown facial hair has almost completely passed in the last month.
I use Now brand Natural Progesterone Cream:

I have been rubbing a tiny amount on my acne prone facial areas as well as the recommended body sites on days 12-26 of my cycle(1/2 pump in morning and full pump at night) and i haven't had any of the acne or inflammation issues on my face. They cleared right up in a few days.
I hope this is useful for someone else. |

Very interesting rosyface, I have yet to find a solution to that one big ZIT that broadcasts to the entire world that Yes, I'll be starting my period in just a few days thank you very much so don't mess with my I'm just too emotional!!!
Are there any known side effects with progesterone? I'm a little leery of using hormones to treat hormones, although it sounds like a possible homeopathic solution... |

well with PCOS, my body doesn't produce any progesterone by itself and over produces estrogen which then runs wild and turns into free testosterone which causes my hairy acne issues. I believe that using a hormone my body is supposed to have anyway will not do me any harm.
However, anyone who is leary of this type of thing might be interested in googling "Dr. John Lee" and you can read so much incredible information why NPC is so great for almost all women.
Again, after investigation, if you're still not comfortable, i would suggest that you not use it if you don't want to. It's an interesting avenue of investigation though, i really recommend the reading... |

Another great use: My mom has used this cream for menopause and it has helped with a lot of the annoying side effect. |
