It was my first entry into more natural skin and hair care but that was 20 years ago. They have expanded their line a lot since the early days. How do they compare to some of the other lines people talk about here? |

Hi dear, I am using Kiehl's hand salve, it's great for my problematic hand, I tried their facial mask as well as shower gel, not so good and therefore quit as soon as the bottle finished. |

Kiehl's is now owned by L'oreal, which to me undermines its legitimacy as a good skincare brand. I do like their Unusually Rich hand cream with sunscreen though, but that's about it. I did try some products from their Abyssine collection before I discovered EDS and they did nothing for me. |

I highly rate Kiehls Intensive Treatment for Callused Areas. It's superbly moisturising and very rich for when you have extremely dry skin. I slather my hands with it and cover them with cotton gloves overnight.
I tried a couple of their eyecreams - Abyssine and Avocado - and found them to be quite good, very moisturising, but not exceptional. For moisturisation properties, I prefer the texture and effects of Valmont Eye & Lip Contour Cream.
Their Crème de Corps is superb, though. However, the price over in the UK is twice what you pay in the US so I can't afford to use it. Instead, I use either Palmer's Cocoa Butter Lotion or Candessence Body Butters - both of which are highly effective and smell amazing. |

I like the avocado eye cream as well. it really 'sticks' to your eye area and feels really good on the skin.
I also like their lycopene moisturizer and their zit cream. I forget what its called! It comes in a blue and white tube. |

Love the creme de corps.
Too bad about the L'oreal sellout. Used to be a great little store. |

Rainbow...I don't know if this the product you are thinking of...but I have been using and loving Kiehl's lecithin and coconut enriched hair masque with panthenol. It is a conditioner for damaged/dry hair. You put it on after shampooing and leave it on for up to an hour before rinsing. I am usually so pressed for time, I only leave it on a few minutes, but it still works great. I'm not too fond of coconut scents..except maybe in the summer, but it's not too overpowering. I put up with it because it really is a wonderful conditioner. |

Ditto but I apply it on dry hair and leave it on while I'm cleaning my home. After I am done, I take a shower and my hair is so soft! |

My hair colorist swears by Kiehl's Coconut-Lecithin Hair Mask and the Leave-In Conditioner w/ Coconut. The leave-in is a very popular product with the makeupalley.com hair board regulars as well. Other than that, I think it's a bummer that Kiehl's is now owned by L'Oreal. They take something they already sell (ex: L'Oreal's Nature's Therapy Mega Moisture Mask), change a couple of insignificant ingredients around and stick a Kiehl's label on it (ex:Kiehl's Olive Fruit Deep Repair Treatment) and charge a lot more for it! |

I have tried their Cryste Marine eye cream (into my 2nd bottle now), although it has a thick consistency but it provides good moisture, as for fine lines it only reduces a little & also abit of my dark rings. I have gave up on trying to get rid of my dark rings so I'm sticking with this eyecream now till I finish the bottle...
Just started using the Ultra Facial Moisturizer SPF15. Although quite alot of people says that it does not provide good moisture but for me it's good enough. i don't like my moisturizers to be oily so this is just nice and the bottle makes it easier to use. |

I am using it right now. I have calendula toner, avocado eye cream and amino acid shampoo, and I like all of them. But I do not like the mask, rare-earth face mask. |

I heard Kiehl's lipbalm is good. I bought one and tried it is fine, but not really much better than Carmex. Carmex lipbalm really works good and price is reasonable. |

Judy, I loooove carmex! A lot of people hate its weird smell but I am fine with it. The soothing feeling is really good! I hope they could come up a tinted carmex:) |

I have used the lipgloss in the tube which is supposed to be so great...but I was really disappointed because it reminded me of Vaseline! I think there are a million better glosses and balms out there ![Crying or Very sad](images/smiles/cry.gif) |

As for Carmex, yes, it would be good if they have some lop gloss. |

Oh, then I understand why my friend is sensitive to their cumcumber toner now, although she had used several bottles.
The avocado eye cream is always my HG! ![Razz](images/smiles/razz.gif) |

oh my god...i was so pleased to see this thread because now i can share my experience with the olive shampoo and deep conditioner...
My hair is highly coloured (not even sure what my natural hair colour is anymore)...it is also very dry with plenty of split ends which i like to fiddle with on my commute to work! It naturally dries with a kink in it, with ends curling up and frizzy bits appearing all over it...
Anyway, I digress...
Used this shampoo and conditioner combo three times and I am so thrilled with it....Now I wash hair, apply the conditioner for 3-4 minutes, rinse and leave. My hair dries soft and best of all...I don't have to straighten it! No frizzies - just nice, soft, textured hair. It might be going a bit far but this is going to change my life and save me oodles of time in the morning.
Highly recommend! |
