Hello -- I purchased the Nuface microcurrent kit about a month ago (with a one month guarantee) and I am trying to decide whether or not to keep it. After one month of using it, my skin feels good and looks fresh. It's hard to know if that is because of the Nuface, the fact that winter is finally over here in Maine, or the glow I have is because of the Lightstim I have been using, etc.... Sooooo, I am wondering if there are any long time users of the Nuface who might share their experiences with it and the cumulative effects of continued use with this product.
Thank you so much. |

Hi
I purchased it too, I am such a pushover, and used it a few times and didn't any difference at all. I just started getting sonopeels and that makes a difference.
What is the light stim?

I am using Lightstim too, just wondering why did you want Nuface - what Nuface can do that Lightstim cannot? Thanks. |

Lightstim is phote rejuvenation device that sends light rays into skins cells to stimulate collagen and elastin production. |

Hi -- The lightstim is an anti-aging photo rejuevenation device. It energizes cells, promotes natural rejuevenation and helps increase ATP, collagen and elastin. My skin really feels great after using it. I thought it would be a good complement to the nuface which does a totally different type of thing. The nuface works as a microcurrent to help tone the facial muscles. |

Hi -- I decided to keep the nuface and I'm glad I did. I think it works out really well with my whole skin regimen. Right now I am using aminogenesis photolagen which I follow with my lightstim. The lightstim helps the aminogenesis penetrate into my skin and along with all the great things it does (increase collagen, etc.) my skin feels wonderful aftewards. Then I use the nuface. The people who make nuface actually advised me to use the nuface after the lightstim as the muscles become very relaxed and then the microcurrent can do its work. My facial skin is smooth, clear and very firm. I like knowing that I'm doing things to help the aging process that are all quite different from one another -- the aminogenesis is a wonderful cream which really penetrates the skin, the lightstim works on fine lines, age spots, and increases collagen and the nuface helps keep my muscles in shape!! |

Thanks for the update artgal1958 - Would you mind revealing if you are over 50? I have been considering the Nuface vs the Tua Viso - I believe that the Nuface is only a 4 minute routine - is this correct? ![Very Happy](images/smiles/biggrin.gif) |

I actually turned 49 last month. I would say the nuface regimen I am using takes less than 5 minutes. I actually (as suggested by the nuface people) use the nuface a bit differently than the instructions. I hold the nuface just under my nose (on one half of the upper lip) for 5 seconds each time I do each side of my face and I also hold it just on the frown line for 5 seconds when I do the forehead sides. I'm trying to avoid any upper lip lines and the dreaded frownie line!! |

artgal1958 - Thanks for helping me decide that the Nuface is the best choice timewise for me. I already have upper lip lines, will the Nuface soften them? I never considered the Lightstim so I checked out their website. I am looking for an LED that will control the redness (rosacea) in my cheeks. According to the info on their website, the Lightstim does not remedy this. Have you had any experience with redness and the Lightstim? I also checked out AminoGenesis Photolagan, how frequently do you use it? I just turned 59 last mo (1948) and wish I had found this forum 10 yrs earlier. ![Exclamation](images/smiles/exclaim.gif) |

Hello Stovetop -- I would think that the lightstim would help with rosacea -- it decreases inflammation and clarifies. I would suggest you call lightstim -- the woman I have worked with is extremely helpful -- her name is Effie and she will call back if you leave a message. Also, the great thing about lightstim is that you can try it out risk-free for 90 days. I was also able to do this with the nuface -- I checked around and bought mine from Spalook and they automatically give 90 days for their products. I also searched out the lowest price ($350) and they matched it!! I use the aminogenesis morning and night. In the morning after it soaks in I apply a moisturizer with an SPF of 15 (the amino does not have a sunscreen). Also, (I know I sound like a bargain hunter) -- I bought my aminogenesis on e-bay -- brand new product for less than $60. Hope this is helpful. |

artgal1958 - Thanks for sharing your long term experiences.
I don't have a problem committing to a long term regime as long as I know that I am going in the right direction - forwards not backwards. |
