Does yours?
It didn't when I first got it, as far as I recall.
Obviously it might not be yeast, but something similar-smelling.
Two considerations: it's at least 9 months old, and I bought it from an eBay vendor.
How fast does emu oil break down? Or is this possibly from another ingredient? |

I have had mine for almost 3 months, and it smells great. I have a terrific sense of smell, and am experienced in aromatherapy, so I am pretty good at identifying different scents...I don't get any yeast smell in mine at all!!
I also use Emu Oil in small amounts as an addition to some of my aromatherapy blends, so I don't use my bottles up very quickly...I have not noticed a change in smell over time.
I think you must have gotten a "bad" jar, or someone tampered with it. |

lunyourskin, thanks for the answer. A nice person also PMed me with similar information to yours.
I used this jar on and off when I first got it, so it may be me and just the air that contaminated it, if that's what happened. |

I bought mine from EDS two months ago. It smells great, very different from what i have read about emu oil. i thought too much fragrance is added to the Airbrush. |
