hi, the Relax-a-Line serum seems to be very popular and not too expensive compared to others with same ingredients, I haven't purchased yet, but I plan to purchase within the next few weeks. Looking to smooth out these crow's feet a little! I'm 44. www.cellularskinrx.com
I hadn't heard about eye creams causing wrinkles! My eye area is very dry and fine lines, gels don't do enough for me. I have so many eye creams, just a couple of suggestions of ones I've like:
Peter Thomas Roth Ceramide Eye - has hyaluronic acid in it which helps hydration, my concealer just glides on perfectly over this.
Hydrating Lift Eye by Exuviance - I used all winter, gentler than AHA, helped crepey eyelids and gave a little lift to eyelid too! My eye area was definitely improved, smoother, fresher looking. I used the whole jar which is rare for me!
Hope this helps some! |

What Chanel serum are you using? Is it just a moisturising one? If so then you could give one of the B5 gels a go (Skinceuticals and Cellex-C both make one). Dermalogica also makes a hydration booster.
In terms of lines around the eye, I think it's important to keep the area well hydrated (and also to drink plenty of water too!). I don't think using eye creams can cause wrinkles - however it can cause problems if the cream is too moisturising for your particular skin type. It is possible that using an eye gel is not hydrating for your skin. I really do recommend Cellcosmet Eye Contour and Babor Sensational Eyes eye creams - I really like them both. There has been some good reviews of the Phytomer one as well. If the area under your eyes is REALLY dry then Shiseido makes a super-rich eye cream. Otherwise you could also use Dr Hauschka Rose Day Cream around the eye area too.

The eye creams Mabsy suggested are cream of the crop eye creams. I am using Cellcosmet eye cream and PTR Eye Rescue now and like them both. However, I am in mid-40s and need something richer. From what I have learned from this forum. There are many other good eye creams, so I will try Barbor's Essential Eyes Cream and Dr. H's Rose Day Cream soon. I would also like to try Shiseido's eye cream and Exuviance's Hydrating Eye Lift to find out which eye cream works best for me.
Hope it helps. |
