I think I bought palmarosa oil to help with my rosacea. Unfortunately, I have no idea what proportions to use!
When I tried to mix a drop in the palm of my hand with emu and HA, it was too strong and made my lips tingle.
Then I tried a few drops in about an ounce of emu oil. That gave the oil a nice scent, but I'm not sure if it was concentrated enough to make any kind of positive impact on my skin.
My latest idea is to put a few drops in my OCM mixture: 1/2 oz Casstor oil, 1/2 oz. grapeseed oil, and a few drops palmarosa oil.
Anyone have some suggestions?
Thanks! |

I visit the GOW forum a lot and one of the ladies there works with EO's and her suggestion is to always keep your EO's at a 1% to no more than 2% mix. So for your 1 oz. emu oil 6 drops of the Palmerosa Oil would be about 1%. She has a really informative blog as well that you might want to look at. http://solarkateco.blogspot.com/

Thank you, Michelle! I should have thought to look on GOW. I had a feeling I wasn't using enough. I'll give your suggestion a try. That blog looks pretty cool. |
