I am considering this for a somewhat troublesome double chin that cannot even be alleviated by weight loss, due to family body style
Anybody here had lipo? What type? were you satisfied, dissatisfied? comments?
Thanks, BF |

BF,
A friend of mine had an out patient "lift" that got rid of what she referred to as her Turkey Waddle on the neck, and was thrilled. It's a procedure that can be done in a very short amount of time. Have you looked into this? |

BF, This friend is in the Washington Metro area, she had this done about 6 years ago. I will be happy to call her this evening and find out any information about what clinic and the exact name of the procedure and post the information after I speak to her. |

i'm interested in lipo, too, but for the abs and hips. What's smart or cool lipo? Is it less dangerous and less recovery time than the traditional under the knife lipo? |

Barefoot I always had a small double chin, even when very skinny. I went in and saw a plastic surgeon about it about 10 years ago. He told me I'd need a necklift along with abit of lipo as it was the shape of my neck.
I had it done and was thrilled!
This was something I always had my whole life, not age related. |

BFG, I went to a doctor for botox today. He does cool lipo, and the ad says it's good for a small area like jowl and chin where would be hard to do with traditional lipo. Have you considered cool lipo? It will tighten skin, too. I'm considering it but it's so expensive. |

I heard that liposuction might cause skin to become saggy afterwards. Exercise and proper diet is the best remedy. |

This depends on your skin elasticity and after care.
Diet & exercise is always best for overall weight loss but lipo is not for weight loss, its just to treat trouble spots. |
