Try Dior's skin flash (back stage makeup) its brillant and can be used with or without foundation. I use 002 it all depends on your skin tone but have used it for years and its so reasonable |

i read that its more of an highlighter than a concealer (like YSL touche eclat) so can it really conceal marks? |

Shiseido Optimal Cover is the most industrial strength concealor I've found. It's very dense. They have since discontinued its production, but you can still find it at some individual Shiseido stores.
Dermacover is also a thick concealor. Kevyn Aucoin's SSE also covers pretty well, but its not as dense as the first two. The benefit is that you can use it as a concealor & foundation.
You could also try the mineral concealor's. Everyday minerals has a good one, but note that the medium shade is a VERY light shade, atypical of most "mediums". |

Amazing Cosmetics' concealer is fantastic. Excellent coverage, smooth texture..and holy smokes does this stuff last!!!! I don't think it is waterproof, but it is extremely long-lasting.....I think the problem with many of the heavy duty concealers out there is that they are like cement and don't seem to wear well on the face (IMHO).....I've never tried Laura Mercier's Secret Camouflage (the two-panned compact) but I've heard awesome things about it(I think it looks kinda "thick", though)...My fave heavy-duty one that covers my age spots beautifully is definitely the Amazing Cosmetics conealer...Note: While I am currenly loving LM mineral powder, the Amazing Cosmetics Mineral powder is terrific for setting the AC concealer.

I have a few I use. Prescriptives Flawless Skin concealer for any blemishes or marks on my face (ie. hyperpigmentation). It also has SPF25. It has a nice thick consistency, but isn't over creamy.
My other two I use under my eyes and they are both from Bobbi Brown. They are really creamy and I was worried they might crease too much under my eyes, but they have really worked great when you set them with a bit of powder. I use the corrector (peachy tone to counteract the shadows under my eyes) and then layer a bit of the regular creamy concealor (a more yellow shade) over top and then powder.
I'm really happy with all these concealers. |

I used this one too.
For dark circles, I used Bobbi Brown. |

I also use the Prescriptives Flawless Skin concealer. I like it, but the shade is a little off for my skin. If you can get a good match, I would recommend it. |

I am new to the whole concealer thing but I just started using the Lauren Hutton face disc and the concealers are great.
Do a search for Lauren Hutton and you can read the thread. |

I like Bobbi Brown's Corrector and The Balm Time Balm concealer. I think the BB Correcter is best for dark circles (it comes in pinkish shades). |

Thanks ladies. I have just ordered the Shiseido Optimal Concealer which is discontinued - of ebay. I could only get Soft Pink - which is probably the wrong color since I am an olive color, but I thought I may as well try it and maybe cover it with darker powder! It seems to have got v good reviews on MUA and does seem pretty strong stuff. I am also looking into the prescriptives one. I was just wondering, should a concealer (in general) be darker or lighter than your skin color? |

After buying every concealer on the planet, the winner hands-down for me is:
Cle de Peau stick concealer.
$65 but it has lasted 3 years and looks like it has another 2 years left.
Use a concealer brush and apply to moisturized skin. It's the only one that works for me! I use it under eyes and on sides of nose and temple to cover hyperpigmentation.
Pricey but lasts forever and you only need a tiny bit each time. I found it at Nieman Marcus (aka: Needless Markup) |

I really like Clinique's concealer, despite me not liking their skin care products. It's a great match to my skin tone. |

I like Kevyn Aucoin's concealers. They are thick, stay put, last a long time and look very natural because his color selections are large. It's easy to find one that works with his selection. |

Amazing cosmetics all the way! I get pigmentation where spots have been previously, and this is the only thing that covers it. It's great because it's also suitable for under my eyes (and does a wicked job on dark circles!).
One tube will last FOREVER! |
