It's now my favorite show. It is so much fun. More fun than American Idol. So many talents! |

Did you see who won the British version?
Paul Potts I love you!
His story made me cry...it's sooo touching.
He's a phone salesman who is in a lot of debt because of illness. And the best part? He takes his wife to every interview with him now that he's won
His audition: YOU MUST SEE THIS!

His second time singing:

His final performance (Same song as the first):

I want his album when it comes out.
ETA: I watch these over and over and over! I can't get enough of Paul |

I was watching it last night .. the guy that had the guitar and sang the Sting song (walking on the moon?) blew me away! I hope he wins and makes an album or something... I loved his voice! And I loved the male Shakira ... he was too much fun! |

I watched it on and off last night, amidst house work. I thought the girl beatboxer was something else!
What made the Hoff leave the stage? I only saw until the one guy (mime/comedian) was singing the "freak" song. |

I never saw the British version. I only stumbled on to this show last week and was hooked!
I liked the guy singing Sting's song and playing the guitar, too. It was a big compliment when that British judge (or was it David Hasslehoff) said he thought the guy did a better job than Sting.
David Hasslehoff was mad at the British Judge (His name is Pais, I think) for voting Shakira in. Sharon (the British female judge) also voted yes, but she did it first, so the pressure was on the British guy. |

Hi ParisTroika!
I attend a meditation every Wednesday night where there are several hundred people in attendance. They've never shown a video when I've been there before, but tonight they showed the clip of Paul Potts when he sang for the first time. Of course, it was amazing, and I think a few of the people might have even been crying alittle.
It was really neat to see all of the clips on YouTube, but if you hadn't posted the links, I'm not sure I would have thought to look for them. Thanks

Not to hijack this thread with Paul Potts, but after he sang on The Today Show this morning, Matt Lauer said that some of the women who were singing in the opera chorus that was backing him up were crying at the sound of his beautiful voice as he sang -- and Matt said how that was so amazing, as these singers hear other opera singers all the time.
What a story! Yes, dreams really can come true ...
Ok, I promise -- no more Paul Potts posts |

There is something about American Idol that boars me and I can't watch it.
America's Got Talent is something else altogether! You never know what's going to walk onto the stage next! I can even watch the Saturday night re-run.
I saw a clip of Paul Potts singing on TV. Can't waite for his album to come out. |

The auditions are over with, and after taking a week off, America's Got Talents return tonight. I can't wait to see that guy Cas Haley again. He was good with the Walking On The Moon song. Check him out!

Even the mean judge said he sang better than Sting.
So guess what I'll be watching tonight? LOL Yeah, America's Got Talents on NBC at 8 pm (Pacific time). |

I saw this last night. It was a lot of fun, but a lot of the performances were cut short. Does anyone know how many more rounds they will have to go before the final? |
