I can give two alternatives, both of which I use and both of which work very well.
Valmont Purifying Pack which you need to leave on for 20 minutes.
Cellcosmet Exfoliant which you could use daily if you wanted to or at least 3 times per week. This one is applied after cleansing, left on the skin for three minutes, then gently rubbed for another one minute. |

I found the Dr Hauschka Clay Mask quite effective, especially when mixed with some Witch Hazel. |

I second this, and also recommend Burt's Bees Pore Refining Mask which also exfoliates manually when you rinse it off as it's not a smooth mask. |

I love Kiehl's deep cleansing mask, Fresh clay mask and Erno Laszlo clay mask. |

This is my favorite mask. Most clay masks can be too stripping to my skin, and it ends up creating more problems in the long run. The Dr. H. Clay Mask, however, has always been quite gentle to my skin. It takes away what it is supposed to and leaves the rest of my skin non-irritated

I'm a mask junkie, I do it at least 2 times a week. For deep cleansing, PSF acne mud treatment with 10% sulfur is extremely effective; tightens pores, absorbs oil without overdrying.
Murad Fruit enzyme mask is another all time favorite of mine. It's cooling and the AHA exfoliates very well.
For a great homemade mask, I'll mix up some bentonite clay with organic yogurt and a little royal jelly. Face feels very smooth and soft afterwards.
To keep pores clean, you need a combination of BHA and AHAs. |

i have dozens of masks in my drawer - several types for several needs! the absolute best mask by a country mile that i've ever used for deep cleansing is omorovicza deep cleansing mask - it's a hard-to-get, specialised hungarian brand (the only place i've found it is at harvey nichols in london). don't know if it's available in america but if it is i wouldn't hesitate to recommend. |

I really like Anamay's French Clay mask. There is a fairly recent thread on it where I posted my comments. It is great. |
