I don't care much about other make up items being natural, but it will be nice to have safe/natural lipstick
I am in particluar looking for a line having nice color selction, moisturizing and smooth texture. Thanks! |

Hiya,
Personally, I like Gabriel Cosmetics and Ecco Bella. You can get them in most US health food stores, and they have fairly natural ingredients and a wide color range. Another one I used to be a fan of is Aveda, but to be honest they've changed a lot in recent years so I don't know what their selection is like now. Still, might be worth checking out. Also, Origins has a decent selection, and while Dr. Hauschka and Lavera aren't the broadest ranges, I think their makeup is some of the most natural stuff out there. Hope this helps! |

Have you tried Burt's Bees Lip Shimmers? I like them. Rhubarb and Nutmeg are my faves. |

Ecco Bella has a good color selection and they are longer lasting, Dr. Hauschka is very moisturizing with a lovely texture. |

Honeybee Gardens has a pretty good selection. I think the ingredients are some of the best for lipstick so I don't feel bad "eating" it! They are colored only with mineral pigments (and contain no synthetics of any kind) and offer matte or shimmery colors.
All colors I've tried are really creamy, like a lip balm almost. I've tried a few colors and "San Francisco" is my fave for every day, with just the right amount of shimmer.
I usually get them online from apothena but I would think you can find them at local health food stores too. I think that's where I bought my very first one (several years ago). |

I was gonna suggest these too, but I didn't think it was a big enough brand that anyone outside of Seattle would know of them! I guess I'm wrong, maybe it just *seemed* tiny and local. I only have one eyeliner and one lipstick from them, but I really like the formulation of both. |
