Hi everyone!
So...I have finally made that appointment with my GP once he came back from holiday. I asked for topical retinoids but he said its really for severe cases and prescribed by dermatologists. So he prescribed Tetralysal 300/Lymecycline 408gm (oral antibiotic) for me. I did ask whether it will be better to use topical antibiotics but he said there's better results with oral antibiotics...the consultation was pretty quick as Im sure he was in a rush to see everyone else waiting outside.
Has anyone taken these before and have had success with it? Did your skin get worse before getting better?
Are there any side effects from using this that are not stated in leaflet like increased sun sensitivity?
So many questions ...but one more which my GP looked so unsure of when I asked him...is it ok to use BHA, AHA, BP or any sort of topical treatments in conjuction with the med?
Any help would be much appreciated! Thanks SO much! |

I want to bump this up as no-one on this board seems to have taken these antibiotics. Did another search using google and there's absolutely no mention of this anywhere.
And I didnt know that antibiotics can cause candida . Kinda scared now...so I bought lots of yoghurt today |
