I just posted on another topic about this, but would like to get the experiences of others. I just made an appointment with my derm to try PhotoPneumatic Therapy (PPX). Has anyone else tried this method or any other method? Interested in getting your experiences on the outcome, how you healed, and if the effects lasted. |

Some people I know have very good results from Fraxel Laser (mainly for PIH and scarring). |

I stopped after 4 treatments becasue the downtime was too much for me, but I definately saw results on scarring and just in my overall skin, it does remodel your skin for sure, but for me it gave me bag hyperpigmentation |

There are 4 or 5 pigmentation marks left and I have quite a few pitted scarring on my cheeks, nose, and 2 on my chin. Would love to have SMOOTH skin! |

I did fraxel right when it came out, there is a newer one out which I believe is better than what I had done. I paid 2400 for 4 treatments which covered my full face. the pigmentation at my jawline is so bad that It looks like I am waering a makeup that is about 20 shades too dark for me, but I must say it worked well on scarring, probably not for oyu if oyu have pitted scars. I have had more success with tcs cross for pitted scars. Have you ever looked at the dermaroller, this is essentailly going to do the same as fraxel and for a very small portion of the price, you can buy them on ebay, but you would likely need the 1.5mm one to break up any scar tissue , I have just purchased one and and doing that now, will elt you know how the results go |

andreana, let me know which works best the laser or the dermaroller. Interesting to see which turns out better for you. Good luck! |
