Anyone experienced this? My pores and circles seem fine under indoor lights but when I look at myself in the sunlight....OMG, they're horrible  Same as with my makeup. I thought my makeup looks flawless indoors but under direct sunlight, it's not good at all. |

Hi Stardustdy! I have this problem, too...
My skin and makeup looks better in my home lighting than the outdoors, too, and is definitely better than under lighting generally found in dressing rooms (flourescent?). I look HIDEOUS in comparison. |

| yes, I started checking myself in a mirror every morning that is on a wall across from an eastern window. With no artificial lights on, the morning light refects into the mirror and onto my face and I can see what I'll look like outside that day.`Very important for catching mistakes and too-obvious of makeup. |

| I tried to put my makeup under the sunlight so it can be perfect but when I look at myself indoor, it seems like I have a lot of makeup on. |

| I sit near natural sunlight (mostly just light without the sun!!!) to put on make-up. I ALWAYS blend foundation and/or blush with a make-up sponge after. That seems to smooth it out evenly,and gets rid of any excess. You can always use a "matifying" treatment to lessen the appearance of large pores. There are quite a few out now. Benefits Dr.Feelgood is quite good, but I find Smashbox's "photo finish" too heavy with silicone. However lots of people rave about the Smashbox. |

| Same. I was horrified to find how ugly my makeup looked when I was looking at my face in the sunlight. |

Tell me about it! And it's not only for blemishes and pores but make-up as well! All those times when I looked ok at home only to look like I used a whole powder compact on my face once I stepped into the sun  |

| I know there're pore mattifiers out there but don't know which one is good. I tried a few but find that they don't seem to do much. It doesn't make too much of a difference and I don't want it to clog my pores even further. So I guess the best thing is to apply makeup under sunlight to make sure. |

Yes, that's because you can see more when there's more light.  So when you put on makeup, just be sure to do it with tons of light if you're doing it indoor which will be more practical. Or do it by the window where there's lots of light. |

| Another thing more noticeable under sunlight is broken cap. My car seat mirror is never flattering. |

yeah I guess I agreed with u too. Sometimes those yellow lights or fluorscent lights make u look worse than natural sunlight. |

| I always stand in front of the window to check my make up. You can't really see properly in the indoor lighting as lights have different tints/shades to them - some are yellower, whiter etc. |

| This is natural! Everyone looks better in the indoor. I think this is the reason why many pop stars wear sunglasses to cover half of the face in the outdoor. |

I feel very vain when I check my makeup outside with my mirror, or compact but I know it can look different depending on the lighting.  Hmm... how to do this discretely...  |

I always have this problem...I apply concealer and indoors, my blemishes seem fine, but then when I step outside, the red marks and acne is so obviuos
As Sweet said, how do you apply makeup outdoors though??? |

I guess for people who live in homes with lots of windows and natural lighting it might be easier. Too bad this isn't the case with the place I'm staying at right now. |
