As per a report many anti-acne products are known to worsen rosacea symptoms. Medical experts strongly urge rosacea sufferers to stop using these products. Rosacea is a common skin condition that affects many Americans, but it can also spread to the eyes and cause a constant gritty, burning sensation. I have been in search a product
that works on my skin, I finally found it on one of acne rosacea review site. I use ZENMED Skin Support System - Dry Skin, and I saw results in weeks! I recommend to go for ZENMED Skin Support System - Dry Skin once. Cheers |

Daniel,
Can you give some specifics on what improved? Did the Zenmed help you get rid of acne? What about redness and skin texture? Do you have oily skin or dry skin, and how did the Zenmed help? Did you have any probs with your eyes, and did the Zenmed help with that?
Thanks! |

Wow I haven't been on here in a while...As for Zenmed, I tried it too and it was absolutely horrible to my skin!! I have rosacea with oily skin and so I tried the kit made for an oilier skin type. Well! To my horrid surprise within 3 days (I kid you not) my skin broke out in a horrible, itchy, pus-filled rash on the lower half of my face and neck. It stung so bad (of course being the hot summer time didn't help with that) that it literally brought tears to my eyes... I quit using it immediately and let my skin recover for a few months, which it did with no scarring at all. Just to be sure that it was the Zenmed I so stupidly tried it again for 1 day a few months later and again I could see the starting of a rash on my chin! So yes, Zenmed was a horrible, torturing product for me and my skin...now I just keep it simple and easy and that seems to work best. I don't know if this helps at all...but this was just my experience with the evil Zenmed! |

Hi, Rosie!
Thanks for posting your experience, that sounds horrible! I've decided Daniel is a spammer, so I'm not going to waste my money on this product! |

Hi all~
I am thrilled to have found this site. I have mild rosacea/very sensitive skin and have tried tons of product lines to get the red out including Zenmed...it did not irritate my skin at all but neither did it do much for me.
I am reading thru tons of backpages and trying to gather some info on what might really work. I eat a pretty clean diet, mostly high raw...tons of fruits, veggies, etc...this is an awesome site! |

Hi, GlimR, and welcome! Having a clean diet is great, I wish I was that disciplined! I go through my junk food spurts, but overall I also try to eat clean. I am still on the quest for the perfect cleanser, but here's what has helped me:
CP serum from SkinBiology(Diana Yvonne and NCNProSkinCare are resellers I have used). Regular CP did wonders for me, having trouble adjusting to Super CP. You might want to try a sample of the GHK-serum.
Ultra Emu oil (Diana Yvonne or SkinCareCentral.biz is where I purchase)

I wouldn't say it's a bargain, but B. Kamins Blue Booster Rosacea Treatment has come highly recommended by 2 people I know... unfortunately it's $94.00 |

Skinactives has a rosacea serum. I know someone who uses it and really loves it. I don't have rosacea myself, and I use some of their other products. They are very affordable.
If you want to check them out, go to skinactives dot com and look under the Ready to Use products (they also sell do it yourself stuff). |

ZEnmed was a total waste! Seabuckthorn oil helps as does any of the calming creams/lotions.
Finacea worked better than the metrogels and oracea was a waste!
But the only thing that ever really works is an IPL, hands down! |

Phyto-C Proheal Serum is a great serum to use as well for rosacea and acne prone skin. |

Annie I already DIY with Vitamin C but am interested in hearing more about this product what other actives does it contain to help in the treatment of rosacea? |

It would be, but I have used it for 8 years now and so does my SIL, son and DIL, they love the stuff.
http://www.isclinical.com/pro_heal_serum
Using and seeing is believing for me.There is not a product here on this board I have used as long, except for maybe Hydra Cool and Active Serums (which I don't use that often).
When I don't use it, I see the difference so that's why I keep using it. It gives my skin a glow and calms the rosacea and acne flare-ups. If it didn't work, I wouldn't use it nor recommend it. I take that part seriously.
The small amount of serum I use each day makes it last a long time and it just takes a few drops.
My hubby actually pointed that out to me when I was moaning about the price, irony! Each bottle will last me about 8-10 months. I just now finished one I bought last November, but it is because I spilled a little. Sad day! |

AnnieR, did you find that the ISC is better for you than the Phytoceuticals? |

That is works is what is important, I don't argue that point...the price $70.00 for 15ml ...$5.00 to make it. Max.
8-10 months with only 15 mls?? Wouldn't last me 2 weeks. You are good with it. I could never make anything stretch that long. |

I do prefer the Phyto-C but I will take either one rather than ever go without.
Vitamin C, Vitamin E and vitamin A combined with mushroom and olive leaf extracts and kojic in the right proportions to balance but not dry out my extremely sensitive skin. I would love it if someone wants to make it and sell it, if the formula was EXACTLY the same!
I have found a more reasonably priced substitute for the HydraCool in the Babyface B5 HA. It does not have the same fresh minty feel on my skin but it works under the same guise for a good topper. So some things can be subsituted for a more affordible price, I have to pick my favorites.
No, not for everyone but there are lots of more expensive and inexpensive products that work for others and not for me. If not, I would not have given it beyond 3 months. Loved Skinmedica TNS, but not for the price. It did give a bit of a nice glow though. I reorder from time to time but not on my top 3 as this is. LaMer killed my skin and the list goes on. I could shoot down lots of reviews that way for sure. I am just mentioning something that helps with MY rosacea skin.
You can also just get a sample, which is how I started out getting hooked here on the forum.
Having lots of friends and family that swear by this addicting stuff, it is doing something right. |
