Just wondering why everybody says DO NOT rub DHCC in but use Press and roll. Why is using gentle rubbing motions bad - like let's say the ones used with Epidermix II? Wouldn't it enhance exfoliation if anything?? Why go through all the press and roll faff? |

I guess this method helps to clean and expoliate deeper. But I just couldn't get how to do it properly. |

I love DHCC!! I left the tube back at home when i went overseas and bought the Jurlique cleansing cream instead...that didnt work well o my skin and i broke out.
This method really works well too to gently yet deeply cleanse the skin. I have a detailed review here, which also explain the product and the method itself. http://mybeautydiary-cc.blogspot.com/2009/04/dr-hauschka-cleansing-cream.html |

I agree with the above post, although I have, when in a hurry, gently rubbed on my face rather than the press and roll method. The press and roll method is better and, besides, we all need to take a little more time to pamper ourselves! I also think the lavender bath is key here--I love that! My facialist finished up with a cool compress soaked in the lemon bath the last time I was in for a Hauschka facial. Lovely! |

I think it says not to rub as it is too harsh for the skin. I also was wondering if by pressing you can get the lotion part deeper into the pores to clean them out and also the little almond meal bits. When I read their websites it also said that the press and roll method helps with lymphatic drainage and is a kind of massage. It takes a bit longer but seems to be working. |
