Hello. After reading excerpts from Carmindy's new book, I have been made aware of the great effect of skin brighteners (or illuminizers).
I am about to look into Laura Mercier's, but would love to know what all of you taut as the best.
I am referring to the product that is placed under the brow bone, on the inside corners of the eyes, and on the tops of cheekbones. |

Hello and welcome! I must confess not knowing who Carmindy is but many people like YSL Touche Eclat as an Illuminator. Guerlain also has a nice one - depends on your skin tone. |

I use Bobbie Brown illuminating powder is "pinks" and although I like it, if I use even a bit too much I look like a Christmas tree ornament. |

Armani has a foundation color that is basically white/silver. It won't leave your face white but it does a great job of illuminating. Their counter at Nordstrom always has plenty of samples. |

I love Benefit's Hi-beam. It is a pink/silver, but once you put it on, you don't really see it. It catches the light at the right angles & doesn't have any teeny bop sparkles. |

I use MAC Strobe Cream for highlighting, it is good used under brows, on cheekbones etc. I also like to mix it with a little Dr Hauschka Translucent Bronze Concentrate to create a bronzed highlighter.
A tube of this will last forever or just go to the MAC counter with a little pot and ask for a sample, as this will last a good month. |

Thanks for all of the replies.
I just spoke with the beauty manager at Nordstrom's and she told me that the YSL Touche' Eclait is the very best, hands down.
I'm going to order it today and will post my results. |
