Rather than make my own C serum, I decided to go to the wonderful local compounding pharmacy in my town, and have them make it up for me. I asked for a 20% C which is stronger than she has ever made for anyone. The pharmacist was confused about the result the C particles settled into the bottom rather than being a clear liquid. Anyway, she gave it to me free to try. I've been putting a few drops in my palm and rubbing it to make the particles disolve before applying to my face. No particles are visable on my face after the application. Is this ok or should we go back to the drawing board? Also, I noticed with the sample 25% C serum I purchased from Diana Yvonne, I got a slight sting after application, which I don't get from this forumla. Should I be getting a "sting?" |

Hey mountaingirl, I don't know anything about the particles or how to make up my own batch of Vitamin C serum, but I can at least testify that serums I use don't give me the tingles at all. This was rather disconcerting for me since I have the perception that it's not doing anything "unless" I feel a slight tingle/sting --- It may have to do with how resistant your skin is. |

The sting means that its working as I get it also not sure about particles have you opened it for long as its shelf life is not too long though would do no harm but not as effective |
