Having finally settled on lumiere Flawless in medium golden.
I want to order some samples of blushes, eye shadows etc..
Does anyone have any suggestions of which products are must haves and any particular colours?
I am golden/ olive/ medium skin tone I think! ( I've tried every light, medium light and medium in every undertone!! )
Thanks |

I would suggest e-mailing Lumiere for suggestions. They are very helpful in putting combinations together. They recommended a blush for me based on my skin tone and preferences and I am very happy with it. |

If you go to Lumiere forum; the ladies there will help you out. You can read posts about certain colours that seem to get lots of raves.
My colouring is a bit lighter than yours, but I have had good luck with Kim's blushes. Other companies look too flat, etc but not Kim's.
I also suggested trying at least a few eye shadows.
If you need brushes the Lumiere brushes are so soft and synthetic. I have the Kabuki and love it. (I want to order a back up.)

OH yes! VV Medium Golden is such a beautiful color for summer!! In spring/winter I use Lt/Med Golden, for reference.
I love the combination of "Sunkissed"/"California" for a bronzer/blush with a "pop" of Kevyn Aucoin LiquiFushia The Creamy Moist Glow over it. "Wild Rose"(Lumiere) is also a nice "pop" color for cheeks.
"Dirty Blonde" is a nice light e/s for summer, when I don't want to look overdone, and doubles as a brow color. I like "Burnished Bronze" in the crease and corners, and along the lash lines. "Shroom" by MAC is nice along the upper lash line to give my eyes a nice glow.
I have normal skin and tried both the VV and FF formulas and much prefer the VV. FF is just too cakey and thick looking, no matter how much I buff.
You can order a ton of samples for not much $$ so experiment to find something you love!
I did not like the Lumiere Primer, but found that Sofina makes a nice SS called Nuance that is perfect under MMU as a primer/SS. |

Thanks autumn95 I have posted a thread on the delphi forum asking for there advice as you suggested.
I have the alima#25 which i love but will try the kabuki at some point as I don't have a kabuki.I haven't got any of the lumiere brushes yet but will gradually invest in a few i think.
WOW Thanks for all your suggestions Fawnie. Sumkissd, califnia gold and wild rose are now in my basket.Do you mix the the sunkissed and california together or put them on seperatley? Sorry for sounding thick
Also what is pop, again sorry for the daft question.
Dirty blonde looks lovely, prob a bit light for my eyebrow as there nearly black but looks good for my eyes, in basket!
I haven't tried the vv as i have dry skin and thought the ff would be better, may get a sample of the vv to try. |

I love lumierre! The squalene and refined emu oil are both really good. Primer is also good but smells a bit horrid - anyone else found this? |

i do love there line, there eyeshawdows are great, excellent colors, i m not thrilled with there glosses, i like the color but dont care for the sponge applicator, i recently order there concealer and didnt like it, it was very dry, they did say they were going to fix the promblem with the concealer. but there eyeshadows are great and the samples are a very nice size.hth |
