So I was wondering if this is possible, instead of using chemical bleach stuff. I have read on a hairsite that you can bleach your hair w/ honey and turmeric, so could this work on the face also, or will it not go deep enough through the hair to bleach it? Cuz hair on the face is different (right) then hair on the head? Some input please |

Well for me to add some natural "glow" on my hair, I use HENNA, a natural alternative than using commerciallly made hair dyes...

you might end up with the yellow stained look from using too much turmeric trying to bleach. I have not heard of using turmeric as a bleaching method though |

Oh ok, but if I put it on I will only leave it for about 15 minutes not longer and will not do it often. Someone on another forum did bleached her hair on the head and it did make it lighter, so I thought maybe it could work for the face also. I have read somwhere that turmeric is an anti-androgen, is this true? TIA. |

you could experiment and let us know Iv also read that turmeric is used as a natural skin lightening/brightening method. So it might bleach as well. I never have tried it for bleaching hair so i cannot say for sure. If you are going to try this out, let us know the results. |

I have only heard of bleaching facial hair with lemon juice. It does work but it kinda hurts! |
