I saw these in the Anastasia Brow Kit, has anyone ever used these eyebrow stencils? How do they work - do you just place them over your eyebrows and kind of pencil a new shape - does it look ok?
I would love to hear more about this! |

I'm incredibly interested in this too. My eyebrows are quite thick and I'm always looking at women who have perfectly groomed eyebrows and wondering how do they do it? I get mine professionally shaped but only go once a month so I try to maintain the look, but don't always succeed. I've eyed the brow stencils too and would love if any of you have firsthand knowledge of how/if they work! |

I got these. It was so long ago. But what happened is that none of the stencils matched my face at all. Even with having done all the measuring they tell you to do. Also, all those stencils aren't needed because you could never really change the shape of your brows that often.
My stencils are somewhere in the basement in the beauty product graveyard. The one my husband brings up whenever he gets frothy. "...you know one day you're gonna go down there and it's just all going to be gone..." |

I recently purchased the Anastasia brow kit with the stencils. I really like the kit, but the stencils are tough for me to deal with. They don't fit my face either. I am smaller boned than the stencils - they are far too sweeping. I used the petite one to just get an idea, but even with that I couldn't really keep it in one place while tweezing. I don't know how to effectively use this things to deal with my far too thick eyebrows! If someone has had success, please chime in! |

charis, that was exactly my issue too. My face is small but these things were huge.
But I think you don't tweeze with the stencil in place. I thought you were supposed to use the pencils to draw in the stencil. Then you pluck anything that falls outside that.
But still, I couldn't make those things work for me. If I ever come across them in the basement, I'll post it and someone can just have them to try. |

Michelec, thanks for pointing out about using the pencil (for anastasia it's powder) THEN tweezing - that makes since now that you point it out. Sometimes the simplest things can seem so hard without a demonstration! I feel silly! Now I just wish one of those stencils fit my face size! |

I've always wanted to try Anastasia's brow kit.
I found stencils by Ardell at the drugstore. Only 6.99 Can. The brow powder is also 6.99. |

Hey BluesHeart! How are you?
That is what I figured about the stencils - How you get them to match the size of your eyebrows, it seemed a bit silly.
If I can keep up with my waxing appts every month then mine would be fine, they are just getting sparser as I get older and have noticed that they look better with a little brow powder for shape. |

I have the same issue with the stencils, too big for my face. If I follow them I look like a transvestite. (No offense to transvestites) |

Ladies there is another site for eye brow stencils atwww.eyebrowz.com. I have a kit of these and I just love them. I have very sparse brows, and these just give mine SHAPE. They come in different sizes, you can buy kits, brow powders, stencil holders, all the accessories for brows. They even have a selection of movie star eyebrow stencils. So if you want eyebrows like Halle Berry for example, they got them! |

Thanks so much SuzieQ, that is an awesome site! I think I will try stencils again and the prices are very reasonable.
I'm ordering the Jennifer Aniston and Minnie Driver shapes ![Very Happy](images/smiles/biggrin.gif) |

I saw the Ardell stencil kit at Target yesterday, they look a lot thinner than my real eyebrows are, but I could see how they could help acheiving the overall "shape" of the eyebrow. |
