This is a tinted eyebrow gel/whatever that applies with a mascara-like spooly wand, and I LOVE it. I don't wax my brows often, but my first waxist encouraged me to get a brow shaper to hold 'em in place, and one of her coworkers suggested a Paula Dorf lightly tinted one. I'm blonde, and though my brows are darker than my head-hair, the idea of tinted brow stuff just sounded too severe. But when I got to Sephora to try out the very sheerly tinted Paula Dorf ones, the sales gal also pointed me towards this Chanel product - and I've NEVER looked back.
I use this stuff every day now, and I feel naked without it. I've probably had it for a disgusting year-plus now, but since it's just eyebrow stuff I never really concerned myself with bacteria. The other day I added a couple drops of lavender EO to hopefully fight any nasties boiling in there, and the consistency didn't change at all.
I find this stuff has a nice hold - not super-stiff, but enough to groom and keep the hairs under control. The tint on my blonde formula is really light and subtle, and it just adds a bit of definition and makes my stray blondey hairs conform to the slightly darker overall tinge.
I love how much more groomed I look with this stuff on - it's a very subtle difference, but I've since tried just using a hairspray or gel applied with a bare mascara spooly brush, and I always find that I miss the mild tint that the Chanel gives me. And this is very natural-looking - I don't think anyone would be able to tell that my eyebrow hairs were coated slightly.
From time to time I've wondered if this product didn't make me break out around my brows, but I think it's just my normal congested skin acting up occasionally, since it was never consistent. But just in case I try to keep it only on the hairs and not the skin itself, and it's pretty easy to do.
Has anyone else ever tried this product? Or do you have other tinted brow gels you like? I'd especially love to hear from other fair-haired gals, since darker brows seem to be pretty well-covered. Also, if anyone knows of natural companies that do lighter colored brow gels, I'd love to hear about it, as you don't see that much. I see many more brow powders than I do gels, at least tinted gels, but I really prefer the gel formula. (I guess that's a lie, since I've never tried a powder, but I like the idea of a gel better!) |

Ginnielizz, Does Sephora sell this product? I checked on the website and didn't see it. Is that where you buy it? Thanks! |

Yep, I bought it at a smaller Sephora that doesn't normally stock a ton of full lines - but who knows, I find that their selection really varies depending on your location. (And my GOD do I miss the giant Sephora in Barcelona that was bigger than a whole city block and FULL of great hair accessories that they discontinued in the US!) |

I'll have to check my local Sephora - I had just checked online. The product sounds great though! |
