Hey everyone!
I just read about this new line from the dermalogica website...

"Most products and treatments for acne are designed for teenage skin, making them too harsh and irritating for adult acne sufferers. The MediBac Clearing system addresses the four main factors that contribute to acne development (overactive sebaceous glands, cell accumulation, bacteria and inflammation) all while addressing the needs of adult skin."
this product line contains... salicylic acid, licorice, calendula, milk thistle, lemon peel, arnica, bergamont, tea tree oil, burdock, eucalyptus, golden seal, chamomile, camphor and methol

Just wondering if anyone has heard anything/had any experience with this new medibac line?

I am a huge fan of dermalogica myself, and was about to go pick up some of their anti-bac cleanser, but this line piqued my interest as I am now officially experiencing "adult acne".

TIA!

Hello!
I order my medibac off the Internet a few weeks ago because Canada can not yet sell it.

I really like the cleanser! I think it works wonderful compared to the rest of Dermalogicas cleansers. I use to use the AntiBac and it worked well, made my skin feel a little tight but the skin clearing wash did not make my skin feel tight at all.

Clearing Mattifier:
Awesome! I use to on my chin, nose and forehead and it seems to be helping my oiliness a little bit more then any other Dermalogica products I have ever used.

Concealing Spot Treatment:
Works OK. Not anything special. It is very light and watery. It gives a little bit of coverage but not much.

Overnight Cleaning Gel:
I find it is very much the same as special clearing booster. I do use it on my problem areas and it works a little bit.

Sebum Clearing Masque:
I do love this! I find it works very well. I use to use the skim refining mask but I think this is much more wonderful.

When I use all the products the MediBac kit comes with I find that my skin does feel much softer and clearer. I have only used it for a little over a week but my chin has cleared up a lot. My chin/below lip area has always been a problem and it seems to be looking very good and much smoother. I think because most of the products have salicylic acid in them that it is constantly working to get rid of dead skin and it almost feels like I am doing a light exfoliation everyday to keep it soft. I would recommend it.

i bought the sample pack that has all the items awhile ago. i like the cleanser and sebum clearing mask but everything else did nothing for me, i had also bought the pack in the middle of a really bad breakout and it did nothing to calm the breakout down... the clearing mattifier clogged my pores, the concealing spot treatment once made me throw up (true story! the smell of the sulfur is quite disgusting Sad ) and the overnight clearing gel did nothing.
