I've been experimenting with cleansing balms/heavy cream cleansers, i.e. Liz Earle and Eve Lom. For those of you who use these type of cleansers at night, what do you use in the morning? I know Liz Earle and Eve Lom recommend using the cleanser in the morning too, but I'm not keen on the idea of using a muslin cloth twice a day. I also don't like the idea of having to dry my face and hands in the shower so that I can apply the cleanser to dry skin. What a pain! Looking for a nice cleanser to use in the shower in the morning. Thanks! |

I have found that when I use this type of cleanser in the evening; there is just no need to cleanse in the morning. |

Thanks for the advice. I have heard mentioned before that people don't cleanse in the morning...just use water. However, I feel like I get shampoo and conditioner on my forehead, and like to cleanse as my last step before stepping out. |

i agree with smoothskin...shouldn't need to cleanse in the morning.
you could try a very quick cleanse with something milky or foamy at the end of your shower if needed.
tip for the wet hands/dipping into balms problem...get a nice little spatula or butter knife that you can scoop a bit out with before your shower & balance the spatula on the edge of your tub...that's my method. |

I use balm at night then spray my face with a flower water in the morning which makes it feel fresh and makes my face damp so the oils I use absorb well. |
