Hi Gang, I just received TCA 30% and Supercop 2X. I have severe sun damage on my legs; hyperpigmentation, lots of thickened spots that hold onto sunless tanner, making me look like I have a disease if I wear it. I'm 38 yrs. old.
A routine suggested to me by the company that sold me the product is to apply 30% to my legs, every 2 weeks, and then Supercop2x every night. I'm assuming, what they meant by that is to apply the product all over my legs and not just to spot treat. Gracious, spot treating would take years.
I am an experienced peeler with Glycolic's but have never used TCA. So I'm scared that applying the 30% all over my legs could be a bad thing. The company even suggested I start with a 2 layer peel and could eventually work my way up to 5 layers.
I'm not afraid of the process nor the healing process but I am curious what I might expect. In the past, I have even attacked these horrible spots with dry ice and been scabbed up for months (with hundreds of scabs). This TCA/Supercop2X routine sounds pretty aggressive to me, but, as I said, I've never worked with TCA before.
At the moment, as I'm an impatient ninny, I've used the full-on 30% on a few isolated spots. Just to get the feel of it. It stung for a bit and after a few applications the areas frosted.
So, that's where I am. I'll see what these areas do over the next week. In the meantime, if any expert advice is lurking out there it would be greatly, greatly appreciated.
I can tell I'm gonna have fun experimenting with this stuff!
Thanks a bunch everyone for your advice. |

I use TCA on my face. I have no experience with it on other parts of the body. My advice is to go slow. The skin on my legs is thinner than the skin on my face, so your legs may not need as much product as your face does. Let us know how it works!!! |

I never heard about TCA before, so this is new for me. I'm going to search for more information. Thanks again. ![Very Happy](images/smiles/biggrin.gif) |
