Hi guys and gals,
I've been using Skinceuticals 15% C-serum lately under my JM Bioclear and like it well-enough. Just wondering what else people use as I'm about to run out and I was wondering whether to repurchase or try the JM C-Esta. And, if so, which one - the normal or the oil-free?
TIA

I used the PSF Vit C serum. It's not that expensive compared to the c-esta, but of course I think the c-esta has a lot more stuff in it. I like the PSF C serum though. |

Thanks Skim. I think that many Vit C serums are going to work under the Bioclear - just wondering what the opinions of Bioclear with the C-esta are on the whole? |

Hey Cat,
I've never used the C-ESTA but give this review(from MUA) a read:
"...Then, I apply C-Esta Serum, which blends in really well. It has a light fragrance that isn't unpleasant, and it absorbs quickly. Then, I apply the Bioclear lotion...Finally, I apply Transformation Cream. My face feels moist afterwards, but I haven't always felt that it blended into my skin. I don't think that is the fault of the product though. During the first 2 weeks of using the product, my cystic acne on my cheeks totally cleared up. The acne marks seemed less. If I did have a breakout, it would be a small pimple that would last for less than a day..."
Sorry for the long post, it won't let me do an external link as I'm new.

I use the Bioclear but I'm not a fan of the JM C-Esta serums. I had the oil-free version and didn't like the texture (thick - like a lotion, somewhat gritty from what I recall) and also didn't like how it felt on my skin (also somewhat too "substantial"). I'd honestly prefer a proper liquidy serum. PSF is good, Vivier has a more oily consistency but also works well with the BioClear. Just my 2 cents |
