Hi,
What actually is Emu Oil and what is it used for?
I have seen it mentioned alot here on the forum but i havnt found out what it is and what is does. I very interested in this as alot of people mention it as a product that they love

since discovering this forum, i too have read with interest the success many have had with emu oil. however, as a vegetarian, it's not an option for me. (i'm not one of those judgmental vegetarians, but i do try and buy as ethically as possible - something that can be quite tricky in the cosmetics industry.)
from what i've read here, it looks like it's helped people with a variety of skin concerns from rosacea to anti-aging. it really does seem to have some serious healing and moisturizing properties.
i'm sure others with experience will be able to offer a greater insight, but my advice is to make yourself a cup of tea and put aside an hour or so to search and read back through some of the old threads here on eds as the information is very interesting. |

I think emu oil comes from the fat on the back of the emu bird, but hopefully someone can clarify that.
