Can anyone recommend a body cream that gives the skin a tighter feel and look?
I am now using AlpaDerma on my face and neck but it is too expensive for me to use on my body. I recently lost 15 lbs. and reached my ideal weight. However the skin under my arms and upper thighs are a little flabby even though I have been doing some weight training.
Any suggestions would be appreciated. |

Hi! I can't really recommend it but I have the same problem and have decided to go for the Decleor Contour products (oil+ fluid + balm). They also have firming products (Tonilastil) which is my next step. I also want to try the Vitaroma Lift Total for the body (I use the facial Vitaroma cream and it works very well).
I have lost a lot of weight these last 6 months and still need to lose more after gaining during pregnancy. I put on so much that I almost don't dare telling anyone. A lot of it was water retention from pre-eclampsia but it is very hard to lose the rest. Anyway.. I'm sure there are great firming products out there, and together with massaging and some strengthening exercise I think we'll be allright |

I've heard the secret is to moisturise, moisturise, moisturise while you are loing weight. Good old cocoa butter is the best thing followed by baby oil. This should also prevent flabby tums and strech marks from pregnancy.
Now that you have already lost weight the combination of massage, boby brushing, toning excersise, and lost of moisturisation along with eating lots of essential fatty acids eg: oily fish, nuts/seeds, raw olive oil (eg. on salads) should help.

Hi
Guess what! ....I also use the Decleor vitaroma body cream, and the contour products, I find they work very well. The gatineau throat gel is my favourite, mum also uses this and her neck is so good to how it used to be, shes 72 but she doesnt look her age, not does her skin look like a 72 year olds.
I also use Gatineau body firming cream, I tend to alternate this with the decleor. |

Thanks Gucci, I want the Vitaroma for the body now And I love Gatineau, I may have to try those products you mentioned, too.
I'm also curious about the Dermalin-apg from Klein Becker (sold here at EDS), has anyone tried this? Sounds too good to be true to me... But there is also that little voice telling me it could work... |

Hi, I find my skin on my legs looks loose and was on the lookout for something that would actually help. Well ladies I found a very inexpensive product that has done wonders it is Nivea Q-10. I am NOT a fan of or do I like Nivea products but after Dr Phils wife Robin recommended it on one of his shows I just had to give it a go. I am very pleased with the results and it didn't cost me a fortune. The good news is it leaves me with more money I can spend on EDS now hehe.

i've used karin herzog's silhouette on my backs of thighs and stomach, and i did notice that my skin seemed a bit more "pulled up" after a short time.
it goes quite tingly and prickly once you've put it on, but it goes away quickly and makes your skin very nice and soft.

Thank you Sherriin. I bought the Nivea today. Figured I can't go wrong for the price.
Certainly worth a try and under $10.00. |
