Hello everyone,
I recently bought Janson-Beckett's Okusil eye serum from ebay, and even though the product was sealed, the box didn't come with an instruction leaflet and that made me question the authenticity of the product... Does anybody have bought this serum? Does it come with a leaflet? And is the serum itself, a clear viscous liquid, that's sticks a little bit? I appreciate any help you can give me, I woudldn't want to be using a fake product on the eye area Sad

Okusil comes in a blue glass 1 oz. bottle.Directions are on the bottle. Janson Beckett products are shrink wrapped. Okusil is a clear liquid. The consistency is similar to Hyaluronic Acid. I never found Okusil to feel sticky. As of late I believe Okusil comes in a box. If the product you got from Ebay is shrink wrapped I would consider it fine. As I remember Okusil has a three year shelf life. Did you check the sellers feedback?

Hey demiro and welcome! I obtained .5 oz. bottle of Okusil with the High Performance anti-aging system here on EDS so I didn't get any kind of pamphlet or box. I do find it to be clear and slightly viscuous but not really sticky or anything. I'm unimpressed with it, however. It hasn't helped to reduce creases at the corner of my eye; instead I've turned to product containing 9% Matrixyl 3000.

I've since purchased Janson-Beckett on ebay, there are 2 good sellers of JB with great reputations - like Winnie said, hopefully you checked both feedback left for the seller and feedback seller leaves for others.

Thank you for the information! Yes, it came in a box and it was shrink wrapped, thank God! Maybe sticky was a wrong word for it, but it definitely wasn't a running serum, it was slightly thick and viscous. The seller had a good feedback, that's the reason I bought the product from them (they specialized in skin care products and Janson-Beckett in particular).
Could I ask you one more thing: do you know if it's alright if I use it on the upper lid itself, and not just the below the brow area? Or that would cause the lid to get heavy and droopy?

Hello and thanks for the welcome!
I had high hopes for Okusil (not so much for crow's feet, as for below the brow lines) but thanks for sharing your experience with it!
I'm also using a matrilyx product -Molton Brown's eye lift- (but I'm not sure about the concentration) to boost results... We'll see how that goes... Smile

Right now I use Skin Prep and AlphaDerma around my eye area. When I used Okusil I gently patted it around the orbital bone. Product has it way of creeping down to the lid. You only need very little Okusil.

Thanks for letting me know! I think I used too much in the first application, but I'll be careful from now on.
