I am now moving up from retinol to Diacneal which is quite stronger. I went to CVS but, they did not have. Do you know where I can purchase? And to those who have tried it, what were your results?

Hi divalovesmusic,

Is this the avene product? I bought mine from CVS. I think that not all CVS carries it though so you may have to try a few ones. Usually the ones on main streets or the big ones are the ones to go for. I have been totally unimpressed with Diacneal - it smells nice but I didn;t see anything different in terms of texture, clarity or fine lines. To contrast, JM Biolcear did improve texture and clarity. But I think that I am more in the exception camp as I know quite a few people rave about it and have it imported from Europe. So, that must mean something.

HTH one way or the other,

Cat

my sister got it for me in france. the first few nights it really made a difference, lightened old acne scars a bit, made my skin look fresher, but after those first few nights it plateau'd and then stopped working Sad

Diacneal isn't available at my Avene-carrying CVS either. I was thinking of ordering it from frenchcosmeticsforless.com

Not sure if I can post web sites.

It is $23 with a whopping 3% discount for Makeup Alley members.

I've been using Diacneal for about a month now, every second night.
I really don't like the smell, though.
I haven't noticed any changes in my skin in the past month. I might try to use it every night instead of every other night and see what happens, otherwise, I don't think I'll reorder, and try the Ystheal.

I used both the Ystheal and Eluage - didn't notice any difference but no irritation. I was thinking of stepping up to Diacneal Confused

So then, Diacneal is stronger than Ystheal?

Yes, due to the HA fragments and (I think) a higher % of retinaldehyde (sp?).
