I just turned on CNN and can't believe what I am seeing.
This is so awful, my heart goes out to anyone involved. |

Yeah, it's terrible. No word yet on what caused it although Homeland security has apparantly ruled out a terrorist plot. |

Even worse, DH's family is from the Twin Cities, and we are flying there tomorrow to visit!! Luckily DH's family is OK, however, we are going to have to find a whole new route to get to DH's parents house from the airport, and I expect the whole area will be one big mess. What a disaster!! |

I didn't know anything about this so had to Google it. Sounds absolutely terrifying. Those poor people. |

I was watching that hottie Anderson Cooper on 360. I love watching him, but had to turn it off tonight. It's too tragic for me to watch, especially with my 5 year old still up. My thoughts are with all those families. |

Hi....I live in the Twin Cities...we are all shocked and very saddened over what has happened. I did not have any media on when the bridge collapsed, but my SIL called me from California to see if we were all OK. I was really frightened as my DH and family take this bridge a lot...was sooooo relieved to finally get ahold of them and find out they were OK. I've been feeling very thankful and just want to hug them a lot!! We are all sooooo sad for those that tragically died though....and those critically injured. |
