Hi guys
Although i dont have really bad stretch marks i do have quite a few light ones on my bottom caused by putting a bit of weight on when i started my new office job which means im sat down most of the day.
What are the best lotions, potions and tips that i can use to get rid of or at least improve the look of my stretch marks.
Thanks
Hannah |

i have tried MANY lotions/creams for stretch marks. I've tried cheap to expensive and NONE have worked.
list of stretch mark creams i have tried:
biotherm anti-stretch mark cream
Vichy anti-stretch mark
100% pure vitamin E oil
Cocoa butter from the body shop
Shea butter
Nivea/Olay/Jergens creams for dry skin
I have even taken vitamin E supplements
NONE have worked
I went to see a dermatologist about my stretch marks which are on my breasts, inner thighs and butt due to puberty growth and the dermatologist said that nothing will help get rid of stretch marks and it's just a waste of money buying products
What i try to do now is drink lots of water because stretch mark happens due to skin cracking because it doesnt have enough elasticity for weight gain. I also moisturize everyday with Palmers cocoa butter to prevent future stretch marks, and exfoliating a couple times a week to get rid of dead surface skin |

I never got stretch marks, but I do have a c section scar and have found that Bio-oil is brillient for minimising the appearance of it.
It is also recommended for stretch marks. |

hi gillian
how long did you use bio-oil before you saw results? I'm using it now for my stretch marks but have only used for about 3 weeks. told myself i'm going to use up 2 full bottles before i decide, and now only half way through the first bottle. can't say i've seen any improvements yet though, but will press on! |

I used it for nearly 3 months before I saw a significant reduction in the size of my scar. I would highly recommend it, another bonus is its not too expensive. |

Hi Hannawebbo. Have you heard of using Naturderm's Epidermx II? (www.greatnewskin.com ) Supposedly it can help diminish stretch marks. I haven't tried it myself (for stretch marks-- I currently only use it on my face) but I could see it helping. Since I've been using it my red scars fade A LOT faster than before I used it. |
