Can anyone recommend a good product to keep my eyebrows in place.
Vaseline just seems to give them a shine, it doesn't hold them in place.
Any suggestions |

Have you tried one of the clear mascaras? I think Jane Iredale has one ... for less money, so do some of the drug store brands, such as Cover Girl.
(I have been using Ardell on my brows, but it is a growth enhancer, too ... I can use some more eyebrows, but know this isn't true for everyone ) |

My favorite is MAC Brow Set because it comes in colors. I use the color "Sophisticated" which is the lightest one they offer. I have very sparse and light colored brows and couldn't do without it. Eyebrow pencils or brow powders always make me look too un-natural so I prefer the gel types. It's $13.50 USD per tube and brushes on like mascara. Of course you can get it in clear too. HTH's!

If you can get your hands on Ardell Brow and Lash Conditioner it does a nice job keeping brows nicely groomed.
At present I am using SmashBox Brow Tech. The Brow Tech pot is divided in two sections: brow color powder/brow wax. The product lasts forever. It has done me well but next time I will give another products a try. |

| I find that you can use any type of clear mascara or Benefits has a product especially for keeping brows in place or as Winnie said use a powder/wax combo for defining the brow and the wax bit usually keeps those hairs in place. I have a girlfriend who swears by Shu Uemura basic mascara for keeping her brows in place!!! |

| I don't use a color one but for a clear brow gel my fav is Dior's Brow Gel. It's a bit expensive and looks small but it lasts for half a yr for me with daily use so I don't find it that expensive and it keeps my brows in place WITHOUT the crunchiness - won't make your brows all stiff. Very natural as well, not something you can see after you put on and won't flake away even if I nap with it on. |

| I swear by Chanel Forme Sourcils - it's a brow mascara with both color and hold, and the "Taupe" shade works very well with my dark-blonde brows. |

| In a pinch, you can use a bit of hair spray or hair gel (whatever you use to tame your hair): just spritz a bit onto an old, soft toothbrush (or brow brush or even your fingertip) and sweep it lightly across your brows! |

Yep, the hairspray trick is what I do if I ever don't have my Chanel on hand, or if I don't want color for some reason. I always use a mascara spooly brush to put them in place after I spray them (I spray hairspray directly into my hand, apply it with my fingers, and then brush for shaping). Sometimes I even do that BEFORE I put on the Chanel, so they'll have extra hold (like for a big evening thing when I have a tiny evening bag that won't hold a ton of makeup for touch-ups - that's happened, like, twice in my life, but still...)  |

Smashbox is a hit and miss brand I know but their brow product (Browtech) is a keeper for me. I have unruly brows and I have to shape them even if I wear no other makeup. It instantly frames the face when your brows are softly shaped. The product is a colour powder on one side (they have three or four shades) with a wax on the other. You mix up a bit of both with the brow brush and shape your brows. It is no mess, quick and a subtle effect. I gave up harsh pencil years ago. Much too ageing. If you are in UK they offer the browtech with brush on QVC for 25 pounds which is good value. It lasts a really long time as well and is small like a dual eyeshadow compact for traveling.
This is one of my 'never without it' products. Maybe I will venture to try some other similar products but they all seem to look a bit too harsh like the brows are drawn on or stuck with glue!
