trestin, are you wondering about any skin supplement in particular or are you wondering about the efficacy of skin supplements in general? ![Smile](images/smiles/smile.gif) |

The best skin supplements to take internally are:
Essential Fatty Acids which include Omega 3, 6 & 9 that are sourced from flax, fish, hemp & evening primrose oil
Antioxidents such as vitamins c, e, a, d.
Green tea extract, berries. B complex
You can get good combos...the makers of Greens+ make one called "Omega Glow" |

The makers of Greens+ also make supplement called "Perfect Skin". It contains similar ingredients as the Glow one, but it's aimed at acne prone skin. I've used 1 bottle so far and haven't seen a difference, but it takes a while with supplement. |

I take prenatals and find them very helpful for skin, hair, energy, etc. |

grapeseed oil contains resveratrol, recently touted as a miracle anti-oxidant. More recently I read that a study showed anti-oxidants cause or promote cancer. I don't know what to do about that - I'm taking a bunch of antioxidants.
Many experts claim supplements don't make any difference. I think they do because I take them and I look better than people my age who don't take them. (Of course, I don't know how I would look if I didn't take them.)
I run down the list in Dr. Perricone's Wrinkle Cure and buy as much as I can handle at one time. I take a handful once a day (not 2 or 3x) with water just before dinner.
Right now I have:
fish oil 3-6-0
Calcium
Alpha Lipoic Acid
MSM
CoQ10
Resveratrol
Vitamin C
Vitamin C Ester
Centrum multi vitamin
Red Clover Blossoms
Soy Lecithin
Total B complex
When I run out of something, I get something else also from the Perricone list. It's a pain in the neck to sort through all those bottles. |
