If I really start focusing on them they can look pretty gross. Even noticed some on my toes that were not so lovely. Anyone found a way to improve these beside just moisturizer? |

I use the B Kamins foot and elbow scrub and cream. I also use Ice Elements 2 minute miracle on my elbows. |

So this is exfoliation. Yes that would help. Thanks, I have to remember to try that. I am getting older though and on me I fear it is due to thinning. |

I had read that the first signs of age can be seen in elbows! ...because we don't tend to take care of them as we do of our face/neck.
Since then, I regularly do everything (& more) for elbows and feet that I do for the rest of my body.
Before going to bed at night, I definitely apply more 'thick' moisturiser to my feet as well as elbows. Massage it in.
Think if you do the routine for a few weeks, you should be able to see benefit.
Exfoliation is a good idea. Everyday in the shower, I scrub the soles of my feet with the washcloth (nothing more serious). |

For the past three months I have been using Copper Peptides on my hands. CP's are slow to show improvement but have become a major part of my routine. I will start applying CP's to my elbows and let you know if I see improvement.
My hands are looking very good since adding Copper Peptides. At bedtime I apply CP Serum, hand lotion of choice. During the day I apply an inexpensive SPF 30 to my hands. My knuckles look fine.
Dry brushing is a great pre-shower treatment for the whole body. Pay extra attention to ankles/feet, knees and elbows.
mommydearest, We are told CP's thicken maturing skin. |

All great suggestions thanks. I have CP Serum, exfoliating grains, and dry brush. I guess that is right that those areas just get ignored. Since they are pokey and bony and thinner skinned there is a tendency to stay away. Wonder if my LED light would work on them. |

Good luck!
If you start building these caring routines slowly but regularly, am sure you will see things improve. |

Winnie, I was just looking to order CP's for my body parts. What strength do you use? Do you use the serum or the lotions? |

I use CP Serum. It is always smart to start with CP Serum for your face. I see no reason why you could not purchase Super CP Serum for your body (especially elbows, knees, feet). If you find it too strong you could dilute it or only use it twice a week to start.
At present I use regular CP Serum on my body as it is left over after upping to Super CP for my face. |

I never thought of using the BQ on knees and elbows. I also have this device. Half the STUFF I have I don't use. The BQ was my saving grace post op (foot surgery). Since, the BQ has found a home over my daughters. |

I have the LightStim and I have not been able to stick to it either. I do facial exercises and that is enough time on my face per day as it is. However, I do have to say that I always look brighter and smoother in the face after using the LED. I am going to try and incorporate it in the morning while watching the news or something. |

I've got the Lightstim as well and I take a break every once in awhile. I use it at night while watching (more like listening) the news. My skin is brighter and see an improvement to any lines I have. I like the unit that sits up on a desk or something where you can sit in front of it and do the whole face at a time. |

try exfoliation and moisturizer. or some skin oils like silkia, i just used the silkia camellia oil as moisturizer not for treating the area but i think it did make improvements to the area.
Some weeks i just put the MD formulations glycolic acid on elbows and i think that must have improved it too. The MD formulations glycolic acid serum was meant to be for face but i found it abit drying in winter months so i started using it on body in pigmented areas as i did not want let the serum rot and go to waste
But yea there must be something on using glycolic acid on areas such as elbows?. I reckon the area has had much improvement on it since before. |

I do a little scrub in the shower on both. I then pump an extra squirt of Squalane and rub it into my elbows and hands. Miraculous I tell you!! My elbows are awesome!! I also use this on my heels.... fabulous.
