I am interested in home Microdermabrasion machines. I already have Epidermx and use it regularly, but want to buy a microdermabrasion machine for home use. I did an internet search and the Timepeel machine can be purchased for $199-$250.00. Does anyone own a home microdermabrasion machine, if so, what brand did you get, do you still love it and how much was it!!
TIA ~Chrissie |

I found this old thread and I just happened to be looking at the Timepeel. Has anyone tried this dermabrasion machine or one similar? |

I just ordered NuBrilliance diamondtip microdermabrasion machine. Now I'm curious if anyone has tried this as a comparison to timepeel. |

I just ordered this from ShopNBC. it is their special value. $197.98, 5 value pays 39.60. What the heck. I really liked the demo. I hope it works as well as they say. If it is a dud, I will use it on my feet and hands! I swear get me at the right time and I'll buy anything! But it really looks like a worthwhile product. |

I have Timepeel and even though I use it infrequently (for no legitimate reason), I am very happy with it and the results it gives me.
I bought mine from NCN.

I tried this machine, but returned it back because I didn't notice any results from using it.
Nancy is kind enough to accept returns |

I had not tried Nubrilliance machine, so can not comment on it. I do, however, get immediate results with Timepeel. I use it on max strength and do several passes over each area of the face, under the eyes, on the neck, and so on. My face gets red, and tons of the dead skin gets on a filter and you can see immediate smoothness. So far I am a happy camper.
I am sure the professional model would be much more powerful, but can be dangerous in not very experienced hands (I got the skin taken off on the forehead once in a salon). Timepeel, if used several times a week would give very similar results as a professional one done once in 2-3 weeks imho.

Do you use this around the eye, not the actual lid but under the brow as well as under the eye? My machine won't get here until about the 23rd of Dec. |

I have the timepeel and would not recommend it. I have found it to be ineffective. |

I got my NuBrilliance today. It was at my door when I got home from work. ShopNbc said to expect delivery by DEC 23rd. I was shocked at how fast it got her. I will try it this weekend and post results. I will get to guinea pig my DH some embedded blackheads by his nose and lots of OLD DRY skin LOL. I had some Wine or I would have tried it tonight, I was afraid I'd wake up tomorrow a glutenous mass sans skin!! |

I have a Derma power home micro dermabrasion tool. Any one else have this? I dont use it often enough. I couldn't find any info on her about it. I also have been using my Bliss "Pore" fector gadget, but after using it and combining several other products, I broke out in a rash all over my face for three days. Not sure what product did it. Operator error, for sure. I'm a little too enthusiastic, I fear.
When I went to Kaiser's esthitician, she showed me her microdermabrasion machine tip and it looked just like my Derma power tip! Basically, a nail file. Their machine just had a much better one and a much better suction. She said they stopped using crystals and particles because of the harm from inhaling the particles flying in the air.
Anyway, just wondering what results regular users of home microdermabrasion machine users have had. |

I bought a Time Peel machine last year, after I read posts in this forum.
I starred at the machine for about 1 year without having the nerve to use it, because I had never used any other gadget before.
I finally began 3 weeks ago, and I've tried it only 3 times. I noticed 2 things after the use.
First, the skin looks a little red (just a little bit) and very soft and fragile, like baby skin. Secondly, I started noticing many, many blackheads that were not visible before. I hope it's because of the removal of the dead cells layer.
Generally my skin looks much more clean, but also more sensitive. |

Just watched an infomercial for a Nubrilliance home micro-dermabrasion machine. Almost bought one until at the last second, I noticed a Timepeel insert on the web page.
Does anyone have experience with Both of these or even just one of these machines?
Excited to start the routine at home
Thank You for your comments!
