I'm moving to Chicago in two days! Lincoln Park. I'm pretty excited, but a little nervous.
Anyone recommend a good dentist or dermatologist in that area?
Particularly the derm... I have given up trying to do anything myself about my acne. I am pretty sure this onslaught of adult acne is due to hormones. I have heard that your body goes through changes in your mid 20s so maybe that's why I suddenly have terrible, clogged, acne prone skin. |

Dear Skim, yes, you will love Chicago, though I don't know where you're coming from, maybe some place even more exciting?!
IF you find a good derm, let me know. I only know a wonderful dentist, though he is not in Lincoln Park but a little ways west. His name is Dr. John Edgar and he is a warm human being and his skills are top notch.
Best, EL |

Lincoln Park is such a fun area. I just left Chicago for NYC, but I always wanted to move to Lincoln Park with all the Jetta driving yuppies. =)
My dentist and derm were in the burbs as well...I'll ask my friends if they recommend anyone. |

Welcome! I live in the suburbs...but LOVE Chicago and surrounding area. Lincoln Park is quite trendy...so make sure you check out other areas as well...there are quite a few festivals during the summer too. A great website for you: www.metromix.com It's got all things Chicago...entertainment, festivals, concerts, plays, food, movies, etc... Unfortunately, I don't have any recs for you, since I am in the 'burbs. Good luck with that...and your fabulous new life in Chi town!!! Post again and let me know how you are doing. |
