Several years ago I got a number of skin tags removed from my neck. Slowly over the past few years about 6 came back. Although they were very small I was thinking of having them again removed at some point.

I have been using Copper Peptides on my face and neck for approximately 5 to 6 months. My skin tags are GONE. Dancing It has to be the Copper Peptides as I am not doing anything new on a regular basis.

If you have skin tags I suggest buying 1 oz. of Super CP Serum (it lasts forever) and dab it on the skin tags twice a day. Even if you don't plan on using CP's on your whole face and neck it is well worth it to remove these ugly little things.

Winnie, that is great news! I have been working on some keratoses, skin tags, etc. for about a month or more. Nothing has disappeared totally of the ones that I put the CP's on, but I think the others took fright and left as I can't find the great number that I had Laughing Actually, I am dead serious about this. The shaggy mole type things are slowly shrinking, but the number of the others is reduced. It is beyond wonderful. Thanks for sharing--it gives me hope that I can get rid of more of them.

Just yesterday when doing my morning routine I realized not one skin tag was on my neck Shock . Be patient. As I said, I have been religious using CP's for 5 to 6 months. This is just a wonderful!!!! Funny thing is I was not using CP's to rid myself of skin tags. I purchased them for anti-aging benefits. Go figure??? Laughing I guess not having skin tags on my neck is a more youthful look. Wink

I know there is a CP even stronger than Super CP's. I am sure if you are just applying to areas such as skin tags it would be fine to go the stronger route.

A skin tag is a common, benign condition which consists of a bit of skin that projects from the surrounding skin and may appear attached to the skin. Skin tags can vary quite a bit in appearance. There are some pictures in this link. Skin Tags are very common. I am glad I never had one on my eye lid.

Thanks for sharing, Winnie. Both my parents have got them and I'm sure at some point I'll have them, too so it's good to know there's hope!

And by the way this is irrelevant but I found it funny that I was reading down this topic and as soon as I was going 'what the hell's a skin tag?' Stardusty's post appeared. Bad Grin

I had what appeared to be a harmless but ugly looking skintag removed from my eyelid while it was still really small. After it was biopsied, it proved to be a form of basal cell carcinoma; since then I've been an absolute freakazoid about using sunblocks and staying out of the sun as much as possible.

The thing is, my optometrist, doctor and finally the eye surgeon who removed this growth all thought it was harmless.

I use NCNproskincare. Nanci provides advice and guides. Skinbiology has a problem with getting orders out right now and diana yvonne has never answered my emails for recommendations and advice.

Jira,

I am using Super CP Serum now. I use it very sparingly around my eye area and lid. I would be careful not to get it in your eye. Give Skin Biology a call regarding the skin tag on your lid. http://www.bioheal.com/ContactSkinBiology.html

I am thrilled with my neck. Be patient and yours will slowly disappear. Very Happy

Just read this on Skin Biology's website:

Quote:
If you have skin tags that you want removed, you rapidly discover that most techniques are very expensive, tend to give marginal results, and often cause more scarring.

1. Our research is finding that a simple procedure seems to often reduce or remove skin tags.

The basic idea is that the hydroxy acids loosen and dissolve a small amount of the skin tag and the copper peptides aid the rebuilding of new skin. It has long been known by dermatologists that hydroxy acids would often remove skin tags; however, the irritation made this method difficult to use.

The use of copper peptides after the hydroxy acids helps reduce irritation and the recovery of normal skin and helps the skin tag removal. You do this process day after day and the tags slowly are reduced or removed. It is really just an extension of the use of chemical peels to remove scars but the copper peptides keep irritation down. It is slow but very often works.

2. The best method use is to rub LacSal Cream or Exfol Cream into the tag in the morning and TriReduction P&R with retinol into the tag at night.

3. If after two months, you are not seeing a good effect, then use a stronger hydroxy acid with the copper peptides. There are links to sellers of stronger hydroxys inwww.scar-reduction.com.

4. We are getting many reports of removing some skin tags with Super Cop or Super CP Serum used alone.

Jira,
I have been using regular CP serum for about a year now, and just stepped up to Super CP. I use it all over my face and neck, including eye area. I just put a few drops in my hand, rub it between my palms, close my eyes, and slather it all over, including eyelids. I do the same with my Exfol serum as well.

I think it's been about two weeks since I started using Super CP, so after reading this thread, I ran to the mirror to inspect the little tiny skin tag I've had on my eyelid for about a year now. It's gone! I suspect regular CP was keeping it at bay, but the Super CP actually got rid of it. Amazing, especially considering that I'm diluting the Super CP with emu oil, and I can't even use it every night yet. Keep in mind, this one was very tiny, like the size of a pinhead.

I've had good customer service from bothwww.dianayvonne.com andwww.ncnproskincare.com

I think Nancy from NCN does a terrific job of educating her customers, as she provides clear directions either via email or an insert in your package. On her website, I think she does a wonderful job of condensing all the info regarding CPs into something easy to understand. The SkinBio site can be a bit overwhelming.

I've never ordered directly from SkinBio, as I've heard their turnaround time at the US site is rather long.

If you are using CP's on skin tags you can go right to Super CP Serum. You can take a cotton swab and dab the area twice a day. If you want to do your whole face and neck start with CP Serum every other day. Sometimes you have to dilute CP's in the beginning so you don't get the UGLIES.

Don't think you have to buy 4oz. bottles. One ounce last a very long time. Plus, the price is very good.

Please get advice regarding CP application on the skin tag on your lid. Don't get CP's directly in your eye. PM me if I can help you further. Winnie

Well, I'm glad there's a side benefit of using CP products! I wouldn't recommend this, but I had a skin tag under my arm that was bugging me, so I used some small scissors and cut the thing off! It hurt a lot, like the way any sore would, but it scabbed and that was that!

I'm going to have to use the CP serum on my neck, as I think it's not as smooth as it could be. Thanks Winnie!

LOL, Winnie - the reason I used regular CP for a whole year before stepping up: I am a tightwad, and did not want that 4 oz bottle to go to waste! I kept it in the fridge, and decanted to the little 1-oz bottle as needed. I was very faithful about using it nightly, and it still took about a YEAR to use up 4 ozs!!

Regarding CP use in the eye area...do you think my method of just slathering it on all over is risky?? Shock Occasionally I experienced eye puffiness, but that only happened when I got too close to the lashline(I assume some of it crept into my eye at that point). Should I be more cautious with Super CP?

Thanks!

nadjazz,

Jira is going to be a new user of CP's. The eye area makes me a little nervous. Skin tags can grow right out from under the lashes. It would really be hard to get CP's on the tag without it dripping in the eye. I don't know if Dr. Pickart talks directly to people any longer. I just want people to be careful. Our eyes are very precious.

As far as slathering it on, I only think we need the slightest bit of CP's around the eye orbital bone. 1 oz. Super CP's last me close to two months using it once a day on face, neck and declotee. Wink
