Has anyone tried any got2be hair care products? I was at a zellers yesterday (in Canada, along the lines of a walmart), and they're having a sale where all their products are $2.99 and 2-for-1, so really 1.50 each!
I picked up a shine spray and their volumizing shampoo (which comes out like mousse, weirdest thing ever!). I'll try them out tomorrow, but considering how cheap the products are, I'm tempted to go back and get more! |

I use (and love) the shine spray, too. They had a really nice deep conditioner, too, but the only place I've been able to find it lately is at drugstore.com. |

okay, i couldn't wait to wash my hair and try it out, so I gave my hair a quick spray just now. I'm not sure how much shinier it's making my hair, but it made it super soft! |

I got CRAZY SLEEK today, for flat iron and blow dryer protection. It's a lotion that's pretty light and the smell is okay. I will let you know if it works. I have fairly long hair with a wave so I've been looking for something to use when I flat iron. |

Okay, well I tried a few of my products now, only the once, so I'll update once I've used them a bit more, but first impressions (sorry, I can't remember their exact names, but if anyone's curious i can go look at them ):
Volumizing shampoo: comes out like mousse, so it was the weirdest thing to try and wash my hair. I've recently cut it shorter (shoulder length) but I still needed a couple handfuls to use it since the shampoo comes out all airy an fluffy. I'm not sure how much volume it added, but I think it'd take some getting used to...personally I find it odd.
Volumizing lotion (round red pump bottle): I towel dried my hair and used 1.5 pumps and I think I'm quite impressed! I usually blow dry my hair, and very occasionally use hairspray (herbal essence body envy since I love the smell). Well, I have asian hair, which tends to be somewhat coarse, so heavy and weighed down for the most part. I have trouble maintaining volume in my hair, but I drove with my windows open, played basketball outdoors midafternoon (sweaty!) and my hair still looked great and more volume! I tend to have OILY hair, and by the end of a normal day my roots start looking icky, but I just got home (12:30am-ish) and my hair looked just as good as it did this morning And despite the physical activity which I so rarely do (let alone 2 hours in the sun!) my hair is still plump, my layers nicely tousled, and no greasiness! My hair actually looks thicker or something! And it's not sticky or hard or crunchy as compared to my uses of hairspray and gels. And none of the greasiness that pomades have left.
I still have a pomade to try (it's very fluffy! Like marshmallow fluff, and it smells like it too!) and the hairspray (24 hr hold in the purple can)
I've also yet to try the shine spray again. I'm excited, especially since they were only $1.50 each! |
