I have two masks that are supposed to be applied overnight. However, I was told by someone that because I have acne, I shouldnt apply them overnight otherwise I will suffer from serious BREAKOUTS! And cos of that and the fact that even before what she told me, I am wary of leaving a mask overnight, I havent tried either of the masks that I have.
Do you leave your masks on overnight? |

If the masks are designed for acne prone skin you should be OK. IMO it is important for all of our skin to be able to breath and renew at night. I go very light with products at bedtime. |

i am trying the zia citrus overnight reversal and i left it on overnight with a moisturizer on top.
i have to say i'm breaking out just a bit but my skin feels much better, and soft.
therefore i think it's just purging.
and no i am not prone to break outs at all.
if they are design for overnight, i don't see the problem but you might want to test a small area first and then go full-blown.
hope that helps. |

Thanks for the replies.
The two masks that I have are not specifically for acne prones, so thats why I'm a little worried about whether it will break me out more.
I do agree with Winnie though about not putting too much on at night time, so I dont think I'm going to leave the masks on overnight, probably just an hour max. |

Laneige sleeping mask plus is too greasy . I think it is not good for acne.
You should be use the acne spot treatment mask . |

Bugfish and Anorn
Did you break out from using the Laneige sleeping mask on your acne?
I may have to only use it on my cheeks if its too greasy, as my cheeks tend to get dry and dehydrated in the winter months. |

Hmm, I may have got sucked into the whole talk the SA gave me...she told me my cheeks were dry and that the sleeping mask would instantly provide moisture to the dry areas. But my mission was to buy the mask in the first place cos everyone seemed to rave about it and everyone told me Laneige is such a good brand for young skin. |
