I'm losing the battle against finding a good sunscreen/block that doesn't cause breakouts. I've tried Avene and Bioderma products to no avail. Those break me out!

I've heard good things about this brand and would love feedback or perhaps other suggestions...

Thanks!

I'm not sure if the ingredients for this LRP sunscreen is the same as avene, but I've tried it and personally I think it's extremely thick, sticky and icky. I supposed if you try to put on a very very thin layer over your face, wait 30 minutes and MAYBE it won't be so sticky but...overall I just didn't like the texture of it at all.

I'm not acne-prone so I'm not sure how it will react for those who are but I do not see how the texture of this will help any.

I currently use Sophia Perfect Lucent SPF 50. It has a very watery texture, contains alcohol and overall it's very light weight with no white cast. Obviously, in terms of PPD protection it will not be as effective as LRP though...but it will probably be a better choice for acne-prone skin.

The lightest of the LRP sunscreens would be the spray UV 30. This is very matt. Actually too matt for me under my MMU.

It is available at SDM in Canada.

I usually wear the Hydraphrase UV 30; this feels like more of a moisturizer. I have been wearing this one for over two years.

Thanks, ladies. I'm not sure if I'll try this line. I've heard some feedback in random places, but not enough to encourage it's use for acne-prone skin.

Shawna, the Remergent sunscreens will not break you out. If you have dry skin then try the SPF15 as it feels a bit more moisturising, otherwise the SPF30 would suit all skin types.

I bought LRP Anthelios Fluide Extreme SPF 40 a few weeks ago. Non-greasy, for combination to oily skin.
I used it for two days. Indeed, it was non greasy, but aaaarrrch it kept on stinging my face for the whole day! I was so glad I could wash it off and put my usual sunscreen (Paula's Choice non-greasy essential sunscreen SPF 15) on! Razz

(and my skin isn't even thát sensitive!! Confused)

I've been using the LRP Anthelios Dermo-Kids Lait. So it's the lait and not the spray. I have the most crazy clogging pores but they are ok with this. Also my skin is pretty sensitive. (I'm a OSPR)

A lot of people recommend the spray version of the above for oily skin and say that it is more matte.

With the lait, I do have to use a layer of powder over it.

Also, very important, you do need an oil based cleanser for getting these off. I'm using Boscia right now and loving it.

Lastly, there are tones of reviews on MUA about these.

How about Clinique's city block? it's physical sunscreen and should not cause you break-ups, i am using SPF15, so far so good.
