I have some scarring on my upper arm and chest area. Not very bad, but I want to try help the appearance of it. I asked Platinum Skincare what products might help me with this. I explained I am 25, I have normal-ish but perhaps a bit thin and slightly sensitive skin. They were helpful and suggested: "a chemcial peel and Super Cop 2x cream every night. If you have medium to dark skin I recommend a TCA 30. If you have light skin, a glycolic 70."

I have not used such products before, but have read a bit here on the forum and searched the topic. I am worried this might be too strong for my skin? I don't want to do any damage, but at the same time I believe PSC know their stuff.

Any thoughts? Smile

I am in the same boat. I'll be very curious what feedback you get. I ordered the 30% TCA and the SuperCop2x from Platinum, in an effort to remove sun damage on my legs. They suggested the 30% peel every two weeks and SuperCop2x nightly. Too chicken to try it.

In the meantime, however, I have been doing 50% glycolic peels, once a week, on my legs, and then nightly use of the supercop2x on my legs. I read about this protocol somewhere else. I have more experience with glycolics so I wasn't as afraid to try it. This is my third week in. The glycolic peels sting moderately. In the evening, when I apply the copperpeptide, I feel nothing. I'm not sure if it's getting me anywhere just yet. I'm exfoliating my legs daily and will see what happens. I'm supposed to do the glycolics for four weeks and based on Platinunm's suggestion to follow peels with the supercop I decided to add the copperpeptide to the regimine.

I do plan to try the TCA once winter arrives. If it burns my legs, to the point that it causes scabbing, I won't be able to wear shorts. That's my fear; Giant burned legs.

On a seperate note, I have been applying the Supercop2X to my chest area for the sun damage there. I have been on a protocol of retin A and hydroquinone for this area for the past three months. Since adding the supercop to the routine it burns like crazy and I have had little sores. It's also itchy, while I'm trying to sleep, so I may be responsible for some of the sores? Again, it's too early to tell but I feel like the Copperpeptide is really bringing up all the damaged - in my skin and this is what is erupting. I don't know though? Areas that were covered in small red sore spots are healing and the skin feels smoother.

That's my experience thusfar with the Supercop2x. Don't feel it on my legs but it burns like crazy on my chest.

I wish you luck with your new products.
