Hey guys!
I'm currently using Obagi's C-ffectives 10% vitamin C serum, and while I lovelovelove everything about it (smell, texture, feel) I find it odd that it's about $73-$80 a bottle and yet most other brands only charge that much (on up) for 15-20% and blends.
Has anyone used the C-ffectives and tried Viver, CSRx, or any of the others?
I have combination skin and would be interested in seeing if I'm missing anything better out there. The C-ffectives has a water base and is pretty much purely just a straight C serum with very minimal slip. I just wonder if I'm paying more for a product that may not neccessarily be better than cheaper equivalent products out there.
Any comparisons (I think FreeFall had mentioned before that she used the Obagi and was going to try something else...) or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!

I just wanted to add that one thing I really especially dig about the C-ffectives is that it's *completely* clear and even after three months it will never turn color (unless it gets contaminated, of course!) After using a perfectly clear serum, I'm a little nervous after hearing about some of the other brands having faint yellow tinges.  |

| I'm pretty sure Liz (freefall2), uses the c-effectives...I haven't seen her online in a while, maybe pm her to see if she's tried others. |

Hi there Obagi C and Vivier are one and the same just marketed under different names in canada and the US.

sherri, that's good to know. I didn't know that.
I wonder why they don't market the other obagi stuff differently in canada... |

Not sure Lianne , but did call the number on the vivier website once for information and that is what they told me about the C.

hi, everyone.
I am on obagi un derm regimen now (week  , and just add obagi serum C (10%) 3 days ago, I love their smell and texture, however, I found I got more blackhead and pimples... should I stop using it?  |

using obagi now.. I had combination skin, oily on T zone and sensitive on cheek area.. easy to get breakout on chin and jaw line.. |
