Please if anyone is reading this please send prayers and healing thoughts for my brother. He has just been taken to hospital this morning with some kind of viral infection affecting his brain. The doctors don't seem to know what it is yet but we are very frightened. I am leaving shortly to go to the hospital to be with him, he is only 28 and really a wonderful guy.

I wish I could hug you! My thoughts and prayers are with you...please come on-line to visit if you need some comforting words..While Ihaven't been around for ages, I do know that the EDS community is full of loving, caring folks. You are among friends. Think positively and have faith. Big hugs to you and your brother.

Pandora, I do believe positive thoughts or prayers [I think they're the same] work, if only because of the positive energy that emanates from such. I'm sending tons of positive thoughts to you and your brother sweetie, please know that there are a lot of ladies and gentlemen who care.

I am just back from the hospital and it is very heartening to read all your kind words, thank you everyone for all your prayers and positive energy, I too believe that these make a real diffrence.
My brother had two grande mal seizures earlier today although his condition does seem to have stabilized some tonight. He has had a lot of tests to try and find out exactly what is wrong, but they are they are currently treating it as Meningitis. We will need to wait till tomorrow for the results.
My poor Mum and Dad are sick with worry as am I, I wish I could switch places with him as I can't bare to see him suffer like this.
Thank you once again for all your support it is very comforting. I will be sure to let you know how things go.

Sorry I haven't been by to post sooner and let you all know but my brother is doing much better and should be out of the hospital this evening. It is still a bit of a mystery as to what exactly was wrong and he will need some further tests but all things considered he is doing very well  .
A big hug and thank you to everyone for all your prayers and positive thoughts, I know they made a diffrence!
