I heard that Retino can go into skin cell, so it may have an effect on the babies who are still being cared inside their mother. So the women who is going to be prenant or is prenant should avoid Retino, shouldn't they?
My sister wants to have a baby soon, but she is currently using 0.1% Rétinaldéhyde from Avène. Does anyone know if Rétinaldéhyde will affect her prenancy and her future child as what Retino does? If it does, how long time does it take to get her body to be ready for prenancy after she stops using Rétinaldéhyde?
I will really be appreciated all who answer these questions. |

Most people will say to avoid it if you can.
But no need to panic, the product your sister is using contains very small amount of Vit A. It shouldn't and wouldn't cause any damage.
I once read from the Green Cream forum, the derm's opinion is if you see her in her clinic she wont tell you stopping using it during prenancy. |

Thank you very much for your reply. So maybe I shouldn't worry about her previous use.
I think I will suggest to my sister to stop using it before and during the prenancy. It is always better to be a bit more careful for the tiny little life. |
